Truck is standard ride height l just bought 285 75 r17 tires and rims to go with them didn’t know you had to lift the truck 2 inches to make them work. Can I change to 275 to have all the clearance and not have a leveling kit?

Im not sure how much help I am but this is clearance on a 275/65/18 stock height. Dont look there is much room to go wider without lifting.

A few... Definitely more than 2
I am running 285/70/17, your 275/75/17 would be about 1/2" taller than mine and it would fit on my truck based on what I have seen. The closest I am to rubbing right now is on the small plastic mudflaps in the front wheel well and pulling those gains you some space at the expense of just a little bit of mud and dirt on the front door.

Those are great looking wheels, btw.

I think you will be fine. Maybe you will have to remove the forward front mudflap, and get handy with a heat gun, but I think you will be ok.

I ran 35 offset with rub on that tire size. I like the look and no poke.
