Before I drive two hours to pickup these running boards for my 06 DBL, can someone please help me confirm that our trucks have four (4) mounting brackets. These came from a Sequoia.

Confirmed, they're identical to the OEM set on my 05 DC.

@noahrexion is there an intermediary bracket missing in @trueno's pic though?

My OEM steps (which are slightly diff't for AC trucks) have 2, 3 intermediate brackets. The one OP shows in his pic that act as the "shelf" for the step, then there's 1 or 2 additional brackets which help mount that shelf to the frame.

The reason I ask, if @trueno gets these and is missing brackets, you can't easily get replacements from Toyota. He may spend months hitting junkyards before he finds the proper brackets.

I get the sense of those 4 mounts, the oddball one may be a direct-mount, but the other three probably have an intermediate bracket... but you'll know better than anyone, since your truck is assembled. Any chance you can grab pics?

See attached. I'm glad Shifty said something cause now that I look a little closer at the pic OP attached it seems that one of those brackets is a black sheep.

On my DC ALL 4 are identical, same holes and spacing as 3 of the 4 on the OP's Sequoia pic. They look to be the front mount that is different. If it were me and they were a good price I would move on em if you've been looking for a while. Having 3 of the 4 seems good enough to mount up and then either modify OR fab a new mount for the 4th location if you can't find it from dealer/parts truck.

In looking at the black sheep it does look to have a similar shape to the others; if you were lucky it could be as easy as drilling a few holes in that one to match the other 3.

In your pics, it looks same to me - 4 brackets, 3 same, 1 oddball per side. Your pics show two diff't brackets, and your last pic looks like the oddball bracket, notice the 45° at the tip.

I picked them but because they install right at the base of the cabin, they are still too high for my short wife and children. I will be selling them and picking up these as they drop 3 or 4 inches
