Will Tacoma 6.5 bed covers fit Tundra 6.5?

Hi,

I'm thinking to get a second hand bed cover (either soft, rolling or trifold) for my 2001 Tundra AC with 6.5 bed.
I keep seeing on the marketplace posts for various years Tacoma's but still with 6.5 bed.

Does anybody know if any of them can fit on tundra? Maybe only specific years?

Since I just went through a search for covers and toppers, I'll say that measuring your bed dimensions is a good place to start. A lot of newer Tundras also have a 6.5' foot bed. But pretty much the only thing that's likely to fit our trucks (based on the topper thread where shifty`explains all this), are products made specifically for our trucks.

I went back & forth with a guy selling a cheap cover for a first gen double cab Tundra. Based on measurements, it wouldn't have fit my truck. I have to imagine Tacomas are narrower than Tundras. Bed covers seem to be a pretty exact-fit product.
