Aren’t these plastic overlays?

It would be a great deal if they were stainless steel.

They are stainless. Here’s a pic of the backside I grabbed before installing them.

 

I had a local company wrap the trim when I first got my truck since this option was not available. Has heald up pretty good however the wrap has taken a few scratches and the chrome is showning through in a couple of spots. This will be a better option IMO. Will probably order.

 

Also in Matte Black if shiny gloss ain’t your thing.

 

What's the thickness of them,is there any significant bulge overlay when there on?

 

The metal is about .5mm thick. There’s no bulge that’s noticeable. The edges sort of cup around to keep them stiff and thin at the same time to prevent that sort of bulgy out of place look I think you’re worried about.

Not a bad price ! I noticed the door handle covers are plastic . Bit of a lunch bag let down but still interested for the limited on the way . Thanks for link
