I've a 2010 Tundra, double cab SR5, 5.7L 2-wheel drive. The passenger side nozzle squirts a bit of fluid, not enough to wet down the windshield; driver side nozzle works well. I think the nozzle is clear and that the check valve maybe the problem. Anyone have suggestions on better identifying the problem and possible solutions? Any info appreciated. Stay safe.

I would remove the line from the back of the nozzle and see what type of pressure you have there. If you have good pressure and flow, nozzle is plugged.

Thanks for suggestion. I tried that and it appears I'm not getting much flow between the check valve and nozzle. The driver's side nozzle works fine, so I'm thinking it's the "branch" from the check valve to the passenger nozzle that's the problem. I'll try clearing that and see if it fixes problem.

I had the exact same problem and it was the check valve.

Thanks, SandyTRD. Were you able to clean the check valve or did you opt for a replacement? If replaced, where did you get the new one?

Quick update: Thanks for the suggestions. Problem solved - it was the check valve. I installed a replacement and am now getting full flow.
Now, i'd like to replace the nozzle as it sort of works but not getting the full spread that I get from from the driver's side.
Anyone know which nozzle is appropriate? I see offerings of +2, 0 and -2 degrees. Really?

Found it! 0 degrees, based on observation.

Sorry I missed your question! I replaced it too. And I got a 0 for the nozzle also and it goes like a racehorse now.

Thanks - I wonder why 3 different nozzles? It's nuts.

Why not just take it off and blow it out with compressed air to clean it? Or use a piece of wire to clean and shop air?

In my case I figured if the valve crapped at 4 years I’d rather replace it for $15 than screw with it. Short money for less hassle.

Thanks for suggestions. Interesting that there were two problems: 1- check valve was faulty (now replaced and working), 2- nozzle was faulty (replacement ordered). I tried clearing the nozzle (air, fine wire) but didn't help; the spray is extremely weak and doesn't apply enough fluid to the windshield. I swapped nozzles (driver and passenger side) and the results confirmed the one nozzle is faulty. Can't be running around with an underperforming nozzle! I suspect the faulty one was replaced sometime in the past (before I bought the truck) as the fit was extremely loose. I found OEM part on eBay, awaiting arrival.

At least you tried to clean it and did a little trouble shooting to confirm bad nozzle before throwing new parts at it. Good job!

Don't want to spend $$ if unnecessary. New nozzle showed up, installed, and all is right with the world.

I was going to suggest soaking it in white vinegar, glad you got it fixed.

Might have worked, but the old nozzle was a poor fit making me think it was an aftermarket. OEM fits tight and right.

Anyone replaced the check valve on a 2.5 Gen? My 2016 isn't spraying on the passenger side and the nozzle seems clear. I saw some videos on the 2nd Gen and the valve is visible, for the 2014+ they seem to have put it somewhere under the hood insulation pad....
