I tend to replace the wiper blades on my vehicles about every 24 months or as needed, so both Tundra trucks were equipped with new Bosch ICON blades yesterday morning. Well designed blades, and super easy installation.

December 20th I will celebrate 36 months on the factory OEM wiper blades. Not a hint of streaking. I cannot explain it. But will buy OEM (not the one's in the Toyota parts department shelf stand) blades which have to be special ordered.

Over all the years and many different Toyotas I've never gotten more than about a year before aftermarket blades began to streak and quickly fail.

The blades I removed had plenty of service life remaining, but I wanted a fresh start on both trucks... my hope is that these new blades will last much longer than 24 months. My trucks are exposed to direct sun 24/7, and that takes it's toll.

OEM blades truly are the best. They last the longest.

Mine last roughly 6 months, no matter the brand. Salt, dirt, sunlight, temp swings, kill them quick here.

I've had my Icons on for about 3 weeks now. Time will tell. My OEM blades lasted a little over 3 years.

I buy the cheapest decent ones and replace them every quarter.

I bought 40 dollar sets and 6 dollar sets

I buy the 6 dollar and change them often.

Spray the rubber blade with 303 a few times a year. That will keep they pliable and last a long time. Helps with the sun drying the rubber out.

I was thinking of doing this too. Either that, or keep old blades to put on during dry season.

I use the Toyota Sightline blades on both of my vehicles. 2 years in, and they're still like new.

Interesting. I put mine on in February and didn't get 6 months before they were failing to wipe large portions of my windshield. And in the PacNW, we don't get the abusive summer sun like in the south. For $40 I expected more. It's still frustrating that we can't get refills for these rigs, as they seem to be the best value and performance for my older Toyotas.

Wow, that's definitely not normal. I have them on both of my vehicles, and they are parked outside all day everyday. We sell them almost exclusively through our shop, and everyone has been super happy with them. I don't think I've had one customer bring them back.

As far as refills go, I remember when Toyota first started pushing the Sightlines, and they told us to tell people we don't have refills any more, lol. The price on refills went way up too. Some of them retail for around $10-11 for a single refill.

I replaced my oem's with Bosch Icon's since that name is dropped a lot on here. But I gotta say, the OEM's were so much quieter and smoother. Once the Bosch's are done, I'm going back to OEM.

I’ve bought all brands at all the price points. None have ever lasted a full year. I just stock up at Costco when the wipers are on sale and replace as necessary. I’d rather replace my wipers twice a year at $5 a pop vs paying $30-50 hoping they will last.
