You replaced your "wiper arm controls", meaning you replaced the switch stalk on the steering column?

According to Repair Manual, wiper arm "parked position" is determined by the wiper motor, not the column switch. What problem were you fixing when you replaced the wiper arm controls?

Do your wiper arms stop immediately when you turn off the switch?...Or, do they continue moving to an abnormal parked position?

If you replaced the external arm that the wiper blade is attached to did you put them back on in the same “clocked” position from which the old ones were removed?

I had a recent issue with the wind shield wipers not shutting off. I had a small amount of snow that apparently created some ice that caused the wipers to stick to the glass.
I hit the washer switch and got washer fluid but could tell the wipers were frozen, ok no problem just clean with broom. As I drove for about 2 miles I kept hearing a noise that repeated a few times I thought I had left the wiper switch on but no it was off. After a few minutes suddenly I heard a louder noise and the wipers did a sweep the passenger blade was fine, the drivers blade was still frozen so it broke free from the arm. I only hit the washer button and made sure the switch was off but now realize the noise I heard was the wipers trying to sweep for at least 2-3 minutes. Anyone else have this happen? None of my other vehicles wipers work like this.
    Truck is 2016 Limited.
