2018 Limited with TRD 4x4 no lift or mods. Ordered Bilstein Shocks B6 186230 (front) and B6 196247 (rear) from Summit Racing. Both front and rear were too short. Front 1.5” short, Rear about 2” short (see pic). Called Summit and called Bilstein USA. Both indicated that they are correct. When challenged, Bilstein said their shocks stretch after use due to bushings, but that doesn’t sound correct… Not 1.5”-2”! The factory shocks say “Toyota Bilstein” 48510-0C031 (front) and 48530-0C031 (rear).

My thought is Bilstein doesn’t have the TRD off road package factored in, but I could be wrong. Or may need proprietary Toyota Bilsteins as a replacement? I’m certainly no expert here, but none of this makes sense to me. Having a hard time locating correct sizing in other brands too. Any thoughts or guidance on this front is appreciated! I want factory height and only drive pavement and dirt roads with this rig.

Better question did you call Saul?

Seriously though I hope the vendor and manufacturer know what they are talking about.

Welcome to the forum @Better Call Schaul

    Lots of guys running 4600s.
You seem to have the correct shocks for your Tundra, I think you have a typo in your OP.

They are a little different than your OEM Toyota TRD shocks.
I'd think your older shock would be longer because it's a bit looser than the new one.

I can't tell if the shock is actually shorter or if it is the angle in the pic.

@memario1214 can you help with this?
