I posted this in the camper shell forum but got zero responses.

Just purchased a new to me leer 100r. It’s in the shop getting painted to match my truck as I type this. When I get it back I’m going to install tracks before I put the windows back in. Should I get the 54” tracks or 60” tracks?

I understand I can just go measure my truck bed but I’m curious if the curvature of the camper shell will affect that measurement.

I put 54” bars on my 2019 CM topper (also in cement). The rails came as 65” long. I cut them to length I believe.

Just to clarify you have 54” crossbars or tracks?

What are you going to do with these rails? It's a lot of holes to drill, one or another will eventually compromise. I ended up installing a Holman aluminum rack w/ 2 rachet straps, it mounts on 4 posts, 2 holes each. Does not add much wind noise, if anything, can mount my 13 ft canoe firmly, bring long lumber from Lowes back home, have awning attached, etc, etc.

    Function before sparkle.
I can measure my tracks later this morning. I swap between a Yakima system and a Prinsu Toprack.

Weight maybe too much for Leer. Keep an eye on it.

The rails, the part that mounts to the roof so that you can attach the cross bars, were 65”. Trimmable to customize length. The crossbars are 54”.

On my ARE cap, the rails (tracks mounted to the shell) are 50" long from front to back including the plastic caps.

It's an ARE cap, but some additional pics to give you an idea. They are older pics but still relevant here.

What model shell is that? I like the side window lower rear trim.
