Ordered my canopy with racks for crossbars, now to to decide on which crossbars (Yakima, Rhino Rack or Thule) to go with. What are you guys using or what brand would you recommend and why? Also how long of crossbars are you guys using? I plan on mounting my flyrod holder to the crossbars too. Thanks for helping out! Great bunch of people on this forum.

Hello! I have the 59" Rhino Aero bars on my Leer topper and love them. They come on and off easily and look good. They were much cheaper than the Thule and Yakima offerings, and having owned them for a little over a year I'd totally buy them again. The 59" seem to be a good size; they don't stick out too far but also aren't tucked in too far.

I have 60" Thule square bars on top of my cab (NOT on my camper shell). Like @BuckWallace said, on my cab they don't stick out too much but also aren't tucked in too far. Sometimes I wish they were a bit longer, but I don't think I would want something shorter even on a cap.

The Thules have been a good product though and have supported kayaks as well as a basket. One thing that's cool with square Thule bars is they make accessories like this if that's your thing. It's pretty nice to extend out the bars and hang a towel out to dry off them: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004TRJ5KQ?ie=UTF8
