I'm generally skeptical of online retailers, unless I can buy thru Amazon.

Who is your preferred online retailer for genuine Toyota maintenance parts, like wiper blades, oil and air filters, spark plugs, etc....

Or, am I better off ordering thru a local dealer's parts department? I'm in Colorado and I'm at least 1-1/2 hours away from a Toyota dealership.

    Thanks,

    Matt

A couple online dealers I've had good experience with, and generally have good prices:

    McGeorge Toyota (Now Ourisman Toyota)
    TRDshop.com (Carlock Toyota of Tupelo)
    Longo Toyota El Monte
    Lewis Toyota of Topeka
    Toyota of El Cajon

I had a terrible experience with ToyotaPartsDeal. Their prices are decent, but they are pretty much a middleman between multiple dealers, and their customer service sucks.

I use https://autoparts.toyota.com/find-dealer and type in my local zip code. Find the closest one with biggest discount. My closest dealer use to have good discount, use to have 20-25% off, but now they only sell at msrp for some reason. Guess they didn't renew their agreement this year or something with Toyota.
Next best discounted dealership is about an hour away in Morristown, NJ. I just got 10 OEM toyota filter for $6.90 ea, and they had a free shipping promotion going for order over $75. My local dealer was charging $9 ea filter online and in person filter was $12 ea. My brother works as a advisor at Toyota in Denver, Colorado and even he couldn't get me it this cheap.

^^^ This - Them - close to home/within driving distance and as good as a price as any other in the Metro - Always use pickup option and save on shipping costs. I imagine the other local Metro dealers are withing a few cents of the same price so it really comes down to who is closest cause driving across town to save a buck is not worth it.

I use my closet dealer and shop on their online store. It always has a discount off MSRP price. I have looked for certain parts and basically all dealers are at the same price. For instance, I looked for the pink anti-freeze for my truck, by part number and all results came back the same. $11ish for a gallon. Don't I er think it unless it's a big ticket item, even then.

Recently had a good experience with Midlands Toyota. Parts I bought were 30% off MSRP, no tax, and they got the parts boxed and out for shipping fast.

If anyone needs a dealership in the PNW, Lithia in Oregon has good prices and decent shipping. Got side steps delivered near Seattle for $100
