That's the one by the Zaxby's, right? I've used that store a lot for tire installation and they've always done a good job for me. I never had a bad experience.

Tire Track and Discount tire are both owned by the same parent company, The Reinalt-Thomas Corporation. In addition, TR supplies most tires for dealerships. Subaru Tire Center (for example) is run by and stocked by TR. In addition, the 2-year road hazard protection is warranted and underwritten by TR. I would imagine that Toyota is very similar if not exactly the same.

    Waste of a GB Color.

This one. Solid store. Beats the hell out of the NTB over by REI up I-85, just north of the Druid Hills exit. I've been using this DT for probably 20 years now and other than sometimes-long wait times, have never had an issue where I'm, like, "F THAT! Not going back!" (yet)

I just noticed this in the lower-right on that image. I guess the store owner doesn't realize "etc" is short for "et cetera" which translates to "and so on" in French, so their store name, translated is "Patrick's tires and-and so on"

I work close by to that store and visit this area frequently.

Check out the Old Brick Pit BBQ down the road from it. They have some pretty damned decent BBQ. Hell, I'd meet you there for lunch sometime if you're in the area.

I'm rarely over there. I try my hardest not to go north of roughly Midtown, if I can help it, not getting north of Downtown is even better.

I'll ping you if I roll up there. Sometimes I do grab parts from World Toyota. But when I do go up that way, I'm usually hitting Buford Hwy.

If you do get parts from World in the future, use Richard Murray and use my name as a reference if you want. He's my go-to parts guy here.

Finally got a part in to hopefully fix my HVAC condenser. This is how they packaged it

Thankfully it doesn't appear damaged. I'm skeptical this part will work but we'll see. Shout out to @FrenchToasty who has been trying to help me diagnose the issue from afar.

Lol, there’s so much poor packing done these days, either massively overdone or massively underdone.
I got a new steering shaft seal the other day, it arrived wrapped in bubble wrap, wrapped in packing paper and in a box about twice the size of the one you’ve got there, could have been just in a bubble mailer and been fine.
Amazon’s one of the worst packers, stuff arrives loose and damaged all the time.

Oh don't worry I got some pics :) Nice weather while away, a little chilly but my new 15-degree sleeping bag did great. Went down the 395 highway in CA, what an epic drive. Mountain ranges are sick, hot springs are plentiful, and it was the perfect time of year as not too many people want to put up with the cold/snow.

Went to the junkyard today and pulled an intake and thermostat housing to swap with the guy with the supercharger. Not too bad. Wish I would have grabbed that starter.

@shifty` have you ever removed your intake manifold? Curious what it takes on the 05-06. Was going to grab one for assdog’s race truck but seemed like it was hanging up on something in the back

I haven't, but I have seen others, and it's pretty different. Not just the material being plastic, the gaskets are formed rubber, and it's a solid mass with no visibility to the starter.

Man I wish Nashville was closer. I still need to replace my spare with a decent used AT.

Does it say the age? That's pretty important too. I wouldn't want to buy an old tire, regardless of tread depth.

Regardless of the age, it's not going to be as old as my original 18yo factory-fresh and grossly undersized tire. They offer a free 1yr warranty. I'm assuming they'll cover it. EDIT: I'll check the markings on it to determine age on arrival.

That company has an A+ BBB rating, is highly regarded on Reddit (Redditors are picky as hell), and Google shows a 4.9 rating with almost 800 reviews. My confidence is pretty high.

I'm kind of shocked you still have the original spare. :D.

It says on their website they don't sell old tires so I'm assuming it's good to go.
