Before I do commence on this wild adventure. Is there anything else I could be missing? New pump, new fluid.. what’s next or is it just the rack?

make sure the cooler is clean, but if the rack is sending shards through the pump its going to wipe out the rack... or vice versa. Maybe add an inline filter on the return?

You might want to check out this link on AGM battery charging. I put at AGM on mine and it went dead. I switched back to standard to avoid the issue. I may go back to the AGM in the future, but I'll spring for one of the GM diodes when I do.

Pretty good product for how cheap and easy it was huh?! Hopefully it lasts but if not it would be easy to do again every year or two.

For the price and limited true amount of work that goes in to it, I am alright if it last two years. However, I am not letting them get that bad before reapplying it again. 2nd hand to me, and the lights were that way.

I did this stuff but obviously still have some work to do bc the dash speakers need another screw and recessed. I also gotta finish trimming and reinforcimg the plastic panels. These 6x9s still hit the glass rail inside door with Metra spacer kit so I cut up the black spacer to make it work. Previously I had hertz 5.25 component with tiny tweater in the dash but I blew the speakers from spraying cleaner in the grill I think. Anyways, I have a tiny in dash amp pushing the speakers so it sounds louder and not strained when turned up but I need to adjust eq still as well.

I also un-tinted my front windows bc I previously put 2 layers of film on it and it got blurry. The first layer was so easy but the second layer was harder. The worst part was the residue. That glue ONLY came off from a product called Rapid Remover that I learned about on a car wrap subreddit.
I was planning to retint myself but being able to see out of my widows clearly again is new and exciting so I think I'm going to leave them un-tinted for awhile.

Today I replaced my gas pedal with the 78110-0C012 one. Hopefully this solves the random throttle jumpiness!

Thanks for the heads up lol, noticed after it sat for a few days the charge was low, makes sense now. Just got the items I need tor that, just waiting on the diode so looks like I’ll have to drive at least daily in the mean time.

Finally picked up the truck after 2 months at the shop. Ended up needing a new front diff and they had to install a double cardan front drive shaft due to the extreme angle from my lift.

I mean it is white. Depending on who you ask that's about as fast as it will go.

Anyone know how much weight the tailgate can handle realistically and how long I could let it sit there till I push the rock off into a gorilla cart?

I bought a couple rocks to add to landscape and hopefully be able to use my RC crawlers on eventually. The big one is 689 lb.

Probably a while, I mean really it just depends on the age of your rear suspension in my opinion. Mainly cause with age and miles the insides of shocks degrade over time so that’s the only thing I could think of.

Ok I'm a dum dum sorry. I just used the Google and it said 500-2000 lbs. For some reason I thought the tailgate would snap with that much weight. TYVM

Why not just take the tailgate off when you go to unload that boulder?

I thought about it. I don't really want to bash the bumper though. I'm gonna do it this weekend when I have more hands and backs.

My neighbor suggested going in reverse and then quickly driving forward.
I think I'll back the truck to the grass, use a chop saw table I have to slide the rock on, and then off that table on to a garden pull cart. It's a stair step approach I guess.

This is still available in the marketplace. Lowered the price to $60. It’s in excellent condition with all the paper work and both keys or you can set your own code. Must be able to pick up. Takes less than 10 minutes to install

Your neighbor and I have a lot in common. But I think your approach is more thought out and a safer way to handle this.

how about using an engine puller to lift it then drive the truck away and then drop it in the garden pull cart
