There is a ton of really great water that rarely get fished if you drive the back route to GNP from Bozeman- all through the swan area- trout, bass, pike, all the species. Get bear spray before hitting the water!

Chased some Native Gilas in Arizona on friday...the population is looking better every year, with the fish more plentiful and larger too.

And this last one was caught on the right side undercut....was just dabbling on the way out and didn't expect to get one on the line...had to jump down from the top to land the fish safely.

One of the reasons we moved from Billings....but now we're planning a move back to ID, so I suppose we like the cold. Beautiful pics, and give the deg a scratch.

Thanks man! These are the fish that started me on my native trout binge, so I enjoy going back every year. The 3wt I use was the first rod I set up for myself from soup to nuts, and then caught a fish on it w my own fly selection.
