    Does anyone have or know of a obd2 scan tool for gen3 tundra that shows tranny temp?

    For other vehicles I use the OBD Link MX+. But for some reason they haven't updated to read out 22+ Tundras. Hopefully its imminent.

    ScanGage 2 and 3 can report trans fluid and engine oil temps.

    Careful with the dongle, do your research. I have had 3 different inexpensive dongles cause issues with a GM vehicle, appears to be spewing noise onto the canbus. Occasional connect was ok, it's when left on the port that issues arose.

    I have the Carista and still in the free month trial. I’ll check shortly and see if it gives trans temp. I have only used to to turn the fake engine sound off so far but didn’t mess around with it much after doing that. Will keep you posted.

    edit: just confirmed it will give you live trans temp. But you would need to open the app and check it.
