Well, my first tundra got hit by a garbage truck. So I'm picking up a 2022 solar octane tomorrow. Anybody seen one with the roof wrapped gloss black?

GOOD GOD! I am happy to hear that you are able to even buy another truck. The truck did it’s job.

Yeah last thing the officer said to me was, "that's a 55k lb garbage truck. I see a hundred wrecks a month. If you had been in any other truck we wouldn't be having this conversation right now. Buy another Tundra." and here we are.

Why not get a 2024 ? ...sorry you lost the 22 (awesome though, how it stood strong) but with a lot of early issues being fixed now I'd go 24 or 25 if you can wait until late Aug/Sept.

Wraps on the roof don't last that long. You could replace it every few years.
Bedliner might be a better choice. More durable and way cheaper.
You won't see much of it under the roof rack that you have anyways.
And glad that you are ok

I mean the truck looks mint, at least 70% of it does. All depends what angle.

    Glad you're ok

Glad everything came out okay with the white one. She took quite the smack.

Does it make the cabin noticeably warmer? I've wanted to do the same since it's easier than fixing the sun damage.
