What are you streaming/watching?

I watched Blade Runner 2049 last week. I didn’t expect that movie to be so deep about philosophical issues. Really good movie even if you don’t like that kind of stuff. It has the same gritty, dirty feel of Blade Runner. Guns and boobs- ‘nuff said.

 

Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Completed 8th and final season. That was a good funny show.

 

The wife and I have been watching The Tourist on Netflix and really enjoying it. It starts off a little slow but really peaks your interest then draws you in

La Brea. Completed third and final season. I found the science hokey but intriguing.

 

Watched the first 2/5 episodes of OJ: Made in America

Just got into Alien. Not bad.

Rope (1948). Prime. Despite very little action, Hitchcock grabs your attention regardless.

 

The Royal Tenenbaums. Hulu. Peculiar but entertaining.

 

Going to start Clarkson's Farm season 3 this evening. Something light hearted for a change.

 

The Apartment (1960). Roku. That was pretty good. Jack and Shirley were great.

I'm trying to watch The Tourist but I keep falling asleep..

My daughter said The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady Live Comedy Special - Netflix Tudum was funny.
Although it is 3 hours long..

 

Finished Fallout. Kind of slow to get going but it came together towards the end.

 

Breathless (1960). Max. A French flick. On Channel 4’s (UK) list of 50 movies to watch before you die. This one, I didn't need to watch - boring dialogue and action. The female lead was pretty good.

 

I just started rewatching Twin Peaks on paramount. I recall bits and pieces of this from my high school days. I sure do love me some old school David Lynch. Also didn't realize that they did a reboot and added a 3rd season in 2017 that I'll finish it off with.

 

A Night at the Opera (1935). Tubi. My first Marx brothers film and I did not find them all that funny. I liked Harpo who was entertaining as a musician.

Have you seen the Thin Man? Dashiell Hammett detective with a great sense of humor.

 

@Moon Puppy I hadn’t heard of it; I looked it up and it looks good. Four Oscar nominations and is on the US National Film Registry. I put it on my watchlist. Thanks.
