Trying to see if anyone recognizes this connector and where it would go? Just got this 2014 trd, 50k miles 4x4. Everything works great... but noticed this by the pedals of drivers side floorboard

Well, that thread title was a let down.

My first thought is there was an after market brake controller (only two plugs so maybe not) or some other aftermarket device it was powering that was removed. Unlikely that’s supposed to be attached to an OEM device.

Looks like a connector for a CB or ham radio. Definitely not stock. Just trace it out and remove it.

    I concur with the masses..
Trace it back and you'll probably find it t-tapped into a circuit..
If anything put a DMM on it and see if it has BATT or AC power.

    Welcome to the forum...
    Good luck.

Yeah, I’d think twice about probing that without protection. :anonymous:

Looks like an Icom VHF radio power cable to me.

Looks similar to the connection on the 12v sockets in dash. They may have tried to extend and relocate????
