Really You're going to post that comment and you live in Texas. How much of Texas that is owned is private land it's what greater than 90% correct. And if I could afforded a 45 to 55 minute drive from where I live now and if I had $320,000 to get 4 acres and a 1500 ft² house I would have. But I didn't so I bought within my means. That and it's not so bad where I live, ask @Mr.bee cul-de-sac no through traffic quiet neighbors and ample parking for all the tundra people that could come over all at one time if you also decided to.

I dont miss having to mow once a week. 8 years ago you coulda been my neighbor. And had $50k to throw at a vagwagen. @VR6T you do live on the best possible suburban neighborhood street. Hopefully our trucks didnt disturb your neighbors.

back on topic, i got to use my truck camping setup to make fajitas for the grandparents. Polo curled up under the truck & waited patiently, just like we were at hidden falls. He doesnt seem to mind where we go, just enjoys the trip.

Not hating at all, your grass looks nice as fuck. Just very similar landscaping in that area from what I have seen.

My "backyard" for reference. Bonus 1gt camper included to keep it on topic.

My property consist of a 10x10 ft crabgrass lawn and 6” round tree root sticking 1/2 way out of the ground running across it.

Due to HOA rules, I can’t even cut it out and get rid of it.

Buffalo grass. It's not exactly cheap but itll grown in like 80% of Texas and it's a native grass.

You can if it's ruining curb appeal or devaluing. Get 2 or more complaint and the devalue in writing and they'll have to let you remove it.

Yes and yes. It really depends on the lift though. A 10k Telehandler only has that much capacity with the first section of boom out and within certain boom angles. The machine I need for the install is twice the capacity on paper, but 25' up and 40' of boom out it will only do 2,500ish pounds.

It’s a little more complicated than that. 70% of the tree is on the neighbor’s property in back of me and the MA treehugger laws are a little confusing as to what I can do.

Catalytic converters. Needed a complete exhaust system.
Paint was coming off the hood in sheets.
    Access Cab.

I'd'a put the effort into a Toyota Tundra Ridgeline 1G, but I was done putting money into an AC. Got sick of the front & back door tops tripping on each other & those silly low bedside walls.

It really wasn't a rust thing.

Funny - I'm trying to figure out where to live next. Looking hard at TX & TN & SD. SD land seems to be too expensive.

Realized today I haven't given thought to how I'll get my vehicles somewhere.
Guess I could sell the car & off-brand Tundra. Drive the RV towing the Tacoma, but dunno if I could add the Tacoma trailer hooked up behind the 1GTacoma. Don't think the RV has the chutzpah to pull a fullly loaded double bedded Tacoma plus the RV loaded with full water & fuel tanks. Could always sell the Tacoma & it's matchy-matchy trailer, but it seems like selling a clean 1GTacoma I got for $5k would be a mistake.
How much trouble do you get in if you put your truck inside the uhaul?

To stay on thread topic - I mowed around & noticed the off-brand 1st gen Tundra is dirty today.

    Insurance covered mine completely.

This slimy little communist shit twinkle-toed cocksucker was headed the opposite direction, and i undoubtedly impressed all the girls with my handbrake turn & chased him down. Come to find out he lives in my neighborhood. Insurance didnt even ask for proof.

    IMG_4076.jpg

You can see him dropping rocks in the pic.

no hate once it was fixed. Even helped the guy move lumber for the river park deck rebuild.

I'm late to the convo, as always. But it's wonderful, that's what it's like.

I mean, I rarely go off road. But the road handling difference is really shocking. It's made the truck feel so much more comfortable, safer, and it drives a lot more like a modern truck. It feels just as stable on the highway as my LS430. And in the rain, it's a drift machine even with the open diff. Before it would smoke the inside rear accelerating from a stop, and it requires a lot more throttle to get them to spin now.

Once this semester is over I'd like to do flex tests with all the combos of dual sway bar, front sway bar, no sway bar, etc. The Tinkerers Garage youtube video was damn convincing that a rear sway bar is beneficial with IFS.
