We are actively shopping for a 2018 - 2021 Tundra. I have been reserching and studying the various trims, options, and configurations of those years at length. During my research, I have found and perused the e-brochures for each of those years.

From my study of the Toyota e-brochures , I did not notice that power folding mirrors was even listed as an option on any of the trims. Then I happened upon a thread about mirrors on the 2.5 gen on this forum, and someone mentioned that it was either an option or standard on the Platinum.

Can anyone clear this up for me? Were power folding mirrors standard or an option on any of the trims in those years, or not? Thanks in advance for any information!

Standard on platinum and 1794. It’s actually the main reason I got a 1794…

This! My 2018 1794 has them. Although they are activated via inside button (not automatic when you lock the truck). Really like the feature.

My 2015 manual shows power folding mirrors so it goes back before 2018. But yes, standard on all Platinum and 1794 editions like said above. Just not an automatic option.

Me too. Standard on my 2020 1794. Come in handy at Sonic; lol.

Check the build link in my signature.
2007-2009, it was included in the Limited trim (there was a version of Limited with memory and without memory)
2010-2013, it was standard on the Platinum. I'm not sure if it was still an option in the Limited.
2014-2021, it was standard on the Platinum and 1794 trims.

Those of us with a 2014-2021 that have ADDED it to our trucks have used the switch from the 2007-2009 non-memory trucks, and have either used aftermarket "standard size" mirrors, have bought used (or new) Platinum mirrors, or have used power-folding tow mirrors (Toyota offered a set and there are several after-market companies as well).
