    Hello,

Wondering if anybody has stumbled upon this same issue. The driver side door lock won't turn left to lock the vehicle, it feels like the left position is stuck, however, the right position does work and unlocks the vehicle. It's worth mentioning that the key works perfectly fine on the passenger side in both directions, lock and unlock.

When locking the vehicle, I lock it from the inside with the door lock switch.

I had difficulty operating my doors with a key (and sometimes the ignition too). I went to the dealer and had them "cut a key to VIN" and now everything works fine. Turns out that the keys I got with the truck were copies of copies of copies, and worn as well

Get some silicone spray and the little red straw. Shove the straw in there and give it a shot or 2. Put in your key and work it in and out and gently turn it. Repeat until lock will turn easily.

you are trying slowly unbind and slowly work in the lubricant. You don't wanna go crazy and snap the key.

This is the exact bottle I had, I just did my locks last week. You'll need a small flathead driver to pop open the key door so you can blast graphite in. (The tube works as a pump)

My fuel door lock seized up and I couldn't turn it. I tried powdered graphite and it still didn't turn, so I shot a little WD-40 in the slot and the solvent action immediately freed it up. Next a shot of plastic safe contact cleaner, then after the contact cleaner cleaned the WD-40 out I again douched it with the graphite. Turns nicely now and I can again add fuel. That's important you know.

It may be someone used a liquid lubricant previously. Graphite works best (may only work at all) on dry gears, it's a dry lube.
