On the maggy 2650 the boost port was a pain to get the brass plug out. Take it easy as some stripped theirs. Need a barbed nipple.
Innovate says to have it 24 inches fron head and mounted between 9 and 3 o'clock. Keeps condensation off sensor.
Most put theirs on passenger side in front of primary cat. Easy to weld bung in. Some mount map sensor on firewall.

    Ha!
    @snivilous Didn't @ViktorG have a 1.9? Hmm, I would still be interested 15psi. Ha ha

Yeah buddy, keep us updated. Shipped yesterday, 2 day air, you should have it tomorrow

We primarily use the Innovate SCG1 since it is basically the PSB-1, but with wastegate control for the turbo set up. However, we are seeing the PSB-1 is the preferred gauge (rightfully so) for the SCs. Anyway, we added the PSB-1 to our Tundra section, we have (12) in stock for anyone that needs one :)

Mine was a 1.97, hitting ~14 PSI with a 10% overdrive lower pulley and headers at 4000 ft elevation.

I still have ASP overdrive pulley on. Think it was 6.7in?

I have the XAT crank pulley 7in, and the @snivilous 2.0 s/c pulley, hitting 18.5 psi, I'm still surprised to see the boost numbers. With long tube headers and ported heads, I thought I would be lucky to see 15psi.

What are your approx WHP #s? Sorry haven't been following these threads closely.

Pretty close to expected # plus some deltas if you look at Viktor's # adjusted, assuming you are at seal level. You'll probably see a drop if you haven't switched to the larger blower.

Once the tune is complete I will hooked it up to the dyno. I'm hopeful to see 650whp plus.

Dude that thing is spinning at nearly 24,000 RPM at redline if your engine redline is 6800. That’s 400 revs in one second! You could roast a marshmallow on the discharge of that blower! Lol.

It will be interesting to see if you can hit 650whp on that setup. I’d be curious to know what exactly the diminishing returns are as you crank the boost. My guess with the 1.9 you’re probably getting about 20-25 extra hp per psi on the first 10-12psi, but maybe only 15 hp per for the extra 6psi. I guess 630whp but would love to see it make more!

I'm shifting at 6800, the engine builder said I could go to 7100, but I want to keep it safe for now, lol. I'm keeping the blower as cool as possible, lots of coolant upgrades to help.

@snivilous I was perusing the OP for a couple of tidbits, and thought I'd see what is thought of adding an issue to the Magnuson 2650. How's this: "Brass boost port plug on the left rear side of the unit is very tight and is easily stripped. It is recommended that it be removed and reinstalled prior to install of the whole unit to facilitate easier removal at a later time."

Over 50% concentration will strip that coating. Not sure how long it would take but it does strip it in the long run.

    Done, good thinking!

If I'm missing anything else people think is pertinent let me know.

Just put a 2-stroke oil fogger and it'll seal the rotors back up, and make the engine happier :D

Hello everyone I have a quick question, I have a Magnuson TVS1900 installed on my 2016 Tundra , and noticed there’s a small coolant leak coming from the passenger side hose fitting. I’ve readjusted the clamp and even added another clamp onto it but the minor leak still remains. Has anyone ran into this before or have any other recommendations on how to resolve this? Thank you in advanced.
