9/1 according to the doc. 9/7ish if you ask the one in charge... so.... early Sept is my answer.

I have an "impact conversation" with my manager on Monday about what our company is going to look like after the reorg that's coming up so I guess I'd better start working on my resume. Having flashbacks to 2020.

without going in to a ton of detail, we didnt think it could/would happen. So we werent exactly trying, but obviously no goalie. It is what it is, and it is a gift. No complaints here.

Without getting all emotional and shit.... I always wanted to be a Father. My father died thinking I never would be. His first grandkid came from our youngest sibling... I am the oldest and a divorce that took to long and a new woman who changed my life, changed all of that. Our excitement is a whole different level!

LOL, I am quitting nicotine and cut Celsius, which was my last vice outside of tea/water/coffee.... we will see how it goes. And thank you! she is amazing and mostly encourages me... which is strange

 

I am beyond thankful for my current role, as well as hers. We should be able to be there... a lot! And I am excited to see all the stages. Work is already scheduling me for Feb to travel and I am trying to find a way out of it.. but they dont ask much of me, so I dont want to risk it.

 

This tire search has now become no fun... although it may have just gotten easier seeing how much lighter the new wheels are...

unfortunately no new flashlights or knives in my future... odd, apparently I have enough of those but am very green lit to add to my higher power collection...

I spent most of today looking at tire stats while "working." when I was done "working" I was in "meetings" and organized a bunch of my stuff post move.

 

I don't know how old you are but I will tell you this:
Enjoy every sleepless night of the newborn.
Enjoy the terrible 2s when you can't believe what that kid just did or said.
Go to every game or school event they have that you can.

They grow up so fast..
My little girl is 30 and due with her first child in June.
My son is 34 and doing great in his career.

Seems like yesterday I was rocking them to sleep to The Toadies..

Love that! And that is what we agree on for our plan. My Father was awesome, but he was raising 4 kids post divorce so he missed a lot. The times he didnt meant a lot to me. I want to be there for him.

Well stated! My kids are all grown up. We have eight grandkids that are pure awesome! Time does get away from us.

 

It’s exhausting but nothing close to as rewarding.
