Valhalla’s Shield theft deterrent/skid plates info and ordering post

But guess I probably do share some responsibility, because I can see that at some point I may have given you the belief that I actually give a shit about what you think. And that caused you to think that I was here to make friends and want to be in this clique of boys who “circle the wagons” around their friend. Which I’m not. This is an ordering post, not a Church of Valhalla post. If you get so triggered reading about somebody having a problem with Tyler, maybe create a gear thread that doesn’t involve his order issues.

Defending and enabling Tyler, doesn’t help Tyler. Almost any business model is brutal as hell, and covering up the weakest part is bound to kill it. I’m fortunate to have learned that early on.

Holy crap… look what I missed…

I welded up a bunch of aluminum 2022 plates today and started working on aluminum front skid plates. I will be welding all day and packing up plates all day tomorrow. I am trying to catch up.

The next order I have being made has extra of everything, I am hoping to have plates in stock in the next few weeks.

The funny/sad thing about all of it, is that if @Harvster had asked in this forum/thread for somebody to reach out to Tyler via FB on his behalf, I can guarantee somebody would have helped out. Even if it was just a "hey, there's a guy on the forum that doesn't do FB that needs to talk to you. Wanna pop in there and PM him?"

At this point, I'd think it's safe to say PayPal plus whatever card is connected to his PayPal account probably have open cases… This type of dude won't be happy regardless of how the product comes out, etc. and you'll have a lifetime headache on your hands.

It annoys the shit out of me when people want to threaten law enforcement action on 'civil' matters; let him source them elsewhere!!!

 

Welded Aluminium 2022 plates sounds like mine is close, yay. I’m out of town this week @Classy63 so you can push mine to the back of shipping to get others theirs first.

On the one hand, I generally think that when it comes to purchasing products or services, you need to pick two of the following:

• good,
• fast, and
• reasonably priced.

It sounds like these plates are good and reasonably priced. I knew they wouldn’t be delivered quickly when I ordered on June 2nd.

On the other hand, this Tuesday will be a month from the day I was told my plates are shipping. After not hearing anything for two weeks from that point, I emailed back to check in on Oct 9th and never heard back. It sounds like the focus has shifted to ‘22 plates…which mine are not. So, I can certainly understand the frustration, even though that doesn’t excuse how people handle themselves or treat others out of their frustration.

Again, I don’t mind waiting. I knew it would be a wait. But I don’t think any of us are ok with being told things are happening that aren’t.

 

Oh my. Look. The same issue, but presented reasonably, and without threats. What a novel concept.


That sucks that it's taking a while and that you're not hearing back. Did you see the message from Tyler that he is so buried he doesn't see emails? If you have FB he said that FB messenger is the best way to reach him. If you don't do FB (I don't) ask if somebody in here can touch base with him on your behalf so you can try to set up a time for a conversation about your order.

 

I have shipped all the 22’s I have here, the rest are at powder coat or will be delivered to me in the next few days to be shipped bare or welded up/powder coated. I will have more tonight, but I am shipping 07-21 plates the rest of today

 

I was wonder if any of you have bolt on sliders and how they fit with the valhalla cat shields. What brand are you running and what mods did you need to make if any?

I have the Valhalla shields in aluminum and the Cali Raised bolt on sliders. The only mod I made was to one of the brackets for the shields. I was able to cut it and drill a new hole so it used one of the same bolts as the sliders. I don’t have a picture on my phone anymore but I posted earlier in this thread with a picture.

Edit: See post 2686 for a photo of how I modified the bracket with the Cali Raised sliders. See post 1116 for info about different slider brands.

Yes, I saw the post mentioning that FB messenger is best on Oct 18th. However, when I placed my order June 2nd, I received an email confirmation that says “If you need any assistance with your order, please email us at *********@yahoo.com.”

I did just get an email tonight that a shipping label has been created for my order, so I’m hopeful!
