My past f150 you couldn't fill the bottle full because once you used it the front camera sprayer would siphon the bottle down below half. STUPID FORD
This was the norm at the dealership after service. * example pic* so maybe the emblem was crying lol

There’s a rubber grommet that seals the fill neck to the main reservoir. Most likely everyone’s leak issue it the washer fluid slowly seeping past that grommet. Because it isn’t a very tight fit whatsoever.

Seriously, I expected more entertainment from a thread with 'blinker fluid' in the title. Page 2, let's go!

I put up with this on another vehicle for years. Replaced the pump and grommet and fixed it.

This is my experience. I can only get enough fluid in to fill the neck and it won’t take any more. They a few days later it’s gone and I can fill the neck up again. There is ZERO fluid leaking out of the truck. No evidence in the engine bay and nothing on the floor of my garage.

This is why I swear a hidden feature of this truck, with it’s progressive blinkers, actually uses blinker fluid.

For what it's worth, I use my washer quite often and also uses the exact same RainX fluid you use. When the truck indicates that the wiper fluid is lower, I am able to dump an entire bottle in there and it comes up just to the bottom of the neck.

My F150 washer fluid was always empty. Always. It became a joke to my wife because every time I would try to use it nothing would spray.

Turned out there was a slow leak where the pump attached to the tank. It was slow enough that it would drip onto the wheel well liner and evaporate before ever hitting the ground.

OK. I'm going to stick with the air bubble theory on this. I've topped off the tank 3 times now without using the washer. Each time I've poured less fluid in than the time before and this last time the level was still up in the neck where I could see it. I even crawled under the truck and see no evidence of a leak. I'm sure it's a possibility the fluid is getting past the grommet but doesn't seem likely in my case. Hope this helps.

Does level drop if it isn't driven? Reason I ask is I had a Ford Lightning that would dribble fluid out nozzles on acceleration, much like an uncle with prostate issues.

Mine only got lower after driving it which is why I think it's an air bubble at the top. If I fill it to the top and don't drive it, the level doesn't change.

Is it possible to stick a coat hanger or something in there to break up a possible air bubble?

LOL! What is so WTF about what I said? If an air bubble is blocking the fluid when you're filling it, why not break up the air bubble to let you fill it all the way? I've done that before in other situations. What am I missing that is so "WTF"?

There was no air bubble blocking the ability to fill. What we noticed is that after it was "full", the level went down after driving but not using the washer. So the air bubble was in the top of the tank just waiting for us to think there was a leak but there isn't. Not sure you deserved a WTF but these threads can be brutal sometimes.

Why do you need this reservoir filled to the top of the neck? If you don't use it, why are you checking and topping it up?

As for finding leaks i recommend to take a rag and tear it into strips, tie them around possible leak points. the rag should end up wet where its leaking. In this case use a white rag it should end up with some color on it.

Maybe run it all the way dry, fill it up with a known quantity, let it sit over night, and then run it dry again while capturing the fluid (that might be a challenge) and see what the volume difference is if any.
