Since i'm fine with the power i have, and dont wanna worry about excess heat or grenading my trans, i have entertained the idea of an air pressure referenced turbo for +5k ft altitude. But i keep coming back to e'ery day heat & not wanting premium fuel. I think i could learn how to set a knob to control a 30-50hp shot of nitrous to let me hold rpm in a high altitude climb. One thing i'd like to play with on a desktop dyno (or convince richard holdener) to play with would be rocker arms to convert this engine to a 16 valve setup. Find the right cam specs to move peak torque down to 2krpm or so. I figure with the tiny valves & induced swirl, i could trick it into building cylinder pressure early. I'm not here to rain on your parade, in fact, i'll be the first guy to cobble up a dry ice bath for the charge pipe, and tell you it needs more boost, but as a thought expieriment, the best way to haul weight is to gear it so this little engine can rev.

See in your case I'd say just bolt on a super and be happy Casey. Me and you are wanting similar yet different things.. a super will be best for your wants.

Heat. I know the trd super is a heaton & i dont know how to cook up methanol to cool things down. I'd bet the a340 is good to 350hp, the 8.4 axle to 450hp (unless you're rock crawling). I just want all 250hp from sea level to 14k ft.

Just add in a medium dual core FMIC and a water meth injection system, it'll cool your ITs down

As long as it's has the methonal evap mixture and not the glycol mix then you can. Have to read that label. Seen a kid at a car show grenade his engine during a burn out comp because he had to fill his water meth tank, went and got some cheap washer fluid, didn't read the label and then gunk seized his cams, which in turn nuked a piston into a valve lol. Nothing was really missed as a loss cause MKv golf 2.0 FSI

I've also heard a little (very little) concern from some people about the blue dye.

Meh it's a 2 camp argument, those who don't care and those who think it'll ruin their engine. There is no real evidence to prove it'll ruin the engine. I mean those are also the same people that will exclusively buy the $14 a gallon snow red dyed water methanol solution. Methanol is clear water is clear so there's red dye apparently the red dye won't ruin the engine but yet blue dye will. It's a really dumb argument

Yeah you're not gonna last long here.

I'm not mad, you're a know nothing in the internet. The fact that you think that highly of yourself that you can get somebody angry over the internet, how egocentric self-centered are you.

My opinion is based on fact, so that would be knowledge not an opinion. And you refusing to learn says all we need to know about you.

Go back to your little Tacoma Jeep shit posting threads. If you can't contribute to someone's knowledge gain you're a detriment to not just yourself but in the entire community

So back to the original point here, anyone know what transmissions are compatible with the 2uz? Aside from other 2UZ transmissions. I would like to upgrade to a 6 speed of some sort, if possible.

He stays busy with his fleet of used and wrecked Toyotas that he's constantly restoring. Oh and racing his 1GR swapped MR2. Maybe he'll see my tag. Or maybe you should add me to your IG and maybe I'll invite you to the place you can chat with him.

CD009 outta a 350z. I text you the info. They also make 2uz to cd009 adapter plates. Lots of people use cd009's in other high HP engine swaps. Honestly might be a little over kill. But that means it should be bullet proof for what you're expecting it to do.

soooo there's your 6 spd issue solved
