Binged 3 seasons of "The Warrior" only to be left with a cliffhanger. I thought the fight scenes and brutality were fantastic.

My IG is @az_pikies because of that film.

Just watched The Guv'nor on NF. Story of Lenny McLean who you'll recognize from a few Guy Ritchie's movies.

The Gentlemen and Stanicky. Both inappropriately funny. What was funny in junior high, still is.

One of my favorite comedians. I went down memory lane a few months ago and watched some of his standups from the 80s that I hadn't seen in years. My wife got to see his early stuff for the first time, too. I'd been quoting a lot of his lines over the years, and now she understands why. Still funny and relevant today.

A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place Part 2. Paramount+. Interesting take on evil-aliens. The films have nagging logic low points but I couldn't stop watching to see what would happen next. Krasinski’s directorial debut and he did an overall good job.

Equilibrium. Paramount+. Lots of death defying action.

Radioactive. Amazon Prime. Some historical facts were tweaked but no more than other true-story films.

Above the Shadows. Peacock. A love story, and technically a sci fi movie that does not focus on the science - like Time Traveler’s Wife. A near hidden gem in my book; it grossed less than 2K worldwide - ouch, considering it has Megan Fox and Jim Gaffigan, though they are not the stars.

Yesterday (2019). Netflix. Rewatched. Similar sci fi story as above but did much better at box office, almost $155 million. On my personal list of favorite movies.

Leave the World Behind. Netflix. That was entertaining - an attempt to forecast a plausible apocalyptic event.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Peacock. Completed S6, on to S7. There is no letdown in comedy. Each season has been funny with just a handful of episodes that were ‘eh’.

It’s a Wonderful Life (1946). Plex. Acting was great but was not impressed with the story line. I found it full of holes.

This Sporting Life (1963). Tubi. This movie was on a challenge list. Good acting but it was kind of a yawner due to it’s length. Sad ending.
