Hi, I looked through my manual trying to find a maintenance schedule. Does anyone know where it is or where to get one ?

    Thank you !

My truck has 60,000 KM . Toyota wants to do differencial service, transfer case 4x4 service. They want $550.00 . And a brake service. I did brake service once already. They charge approximately $250.00 for this.

I found a smaller independent garage that is a Toyota shop. They said they will do the diff service for $200.00. And brake service for $100.00. I will probably take it there.

Can I just keep the records for warranty purposes? I am not sure if the dealership would like it, but I don’t want to pay heir prices.

I'm assuming you're in Canada, so I'd have no idea regarding the legality of things in your area.

We have case law here that basically states that it's the MFR's responsibility to prove that what you did (installing aftermarket parts, DIY maintenance, etc.) caused the failure for them not to honor warranties. Remember the 'dealer' isn't who your warranty is through, it's through the MFR.. Maybe if you post this specific question in the general 2.5 Gen thread some of the dudes from Canada can chime in here and either confirm or dispel what I'm saying...

Just FYI, you posted your original question in the 'Gen 2.5 Pro' thread so exposure to your question is going to be limited to those of us that float around in here....
