My Tundra didn't have bedlights other than the ones on the back of the top of the cab. I may put some after-market ones in later.

Did you guys have to seal your beds at the corners to make sure water didn't get in before you put the bed rugs in?

I sealed my tonneau cover at the corners to prevent water from coming in. he cover has water channels and drains that have hoses that go down to the front of the bed. I have to punch small holes in the bed rug to allow the tubes to go through. Just used an awl.

My Tundra and my Tacoma both had 1/4 inch gaps at the cab end and let a little water in. I sealed it in the Tacoma and will do the same with the Tundra.

It’s about 30” with hitch. Pulled effortlessly through hilly terrain. No issues people complain about hooking up, backing up, etc. we have factory bags and there was no squat. Need to adjust the hitch though.

Quick question: did you do the sunroof and windshield too? Also what did you pay if I may inquire?

Did my 10K service at 9,230mi. Oil, fuel line temp. fix, & transmission reprogram. Took them 7hrs!!

Also noted a slight seep from main rear seal. Had them look at it. Plan is to clean off seep and see if it returns to be able to claim as warranty. Really hoping this was simply “new manufacture wear from assembly! Will up date if it returns.
Before & after pics of main seep.

I had that same problem in the late 80's on a Mustang. Different era; however, it was a result of the engine block being warped and too much pressure blowing the rear main seal. I eventually had to Lemon Law the car. Not saying that's the case, but stay on it. It might be the result of a bigger issue.

The wireless charger would stop working after 10 seconds and show an error. So I 3d printed a new cover for that area and added a Samsung super fast 2.0 wireless charger. Works great, little warm but it does charge quickly. Does have a status light on the side too.

Just did it because my bak cover leaked like hell. Put a new rubber sealer across the back and then used RTV to fill the gaps.

Im not sure how the 2nd Gen Tundras sounded like but to me carven has the right note to make this 3rd Gen sound like a truck. I like how it's not to aggressive as your cruising but when it's started or you give it some gas it lets you know you have a beast that knows how to growl at you.

After 10+ years of wheeling and going on family adventures in our 1997 LX450, we decided to build a new tundra for our family adventures and use the Land Cruiser for playing in the rocks again. Just got our FWC Project M camper, a set of Method 705s and Toyo RT Trails installed Friday and couldn't be happier. The wife and kids love the new house on wheels and the space the Tundra gives us now on our adventures.CHA09023.jpg
