I removed the front mid flaps and pinned the fender into the hole next to the crash bracket with body panel clips

Put the relocation bracket back in and it drives so much better. Still has the slight rub on sway bar. My next step is going 0 offset if I want to change the rub. Messing with the sway bar location doesn't make sense to lose drive quality.

Better to just switch to a lower offset. I'll just put the nytop fender flares on if I go 0 offset.

Why not the 1" spacers for $149?

I have the spidertrax 1 inch spacer I received them today and that was what I was gonna do. It would make my wheels -7 offset. I figured that could be too negative.

I don't want to have to trim or body chop.

Wish I could find a half inch spacer! That was hub centric

Also, I hear running spacers isn't a good idea.

I just got the tires mounted....no rub on mudflap, felt liner, or swaybar. No spacers needed. 285/65R20 Ridge Grapplers on the TRD wheels. Looks WAY better now!

Yes the best way to go for sure. Are you on the TRD 3-in?

I dont know. But for me, I went with the toyo 35s wrapped on method 318's 17" with the 25 offset and that seems to be the sweet spot. The mudflaps do rub when i articulate , so I might remove them. But other than that I dont have any issue with the sway bar at full lock.

Well, I spoke too soon. Turning into my garage hard to the left when I got home last night and the tire gets into the swaybar. I guess I'm ordering wheel spacers now.

Has anyone tried just the Icon swaybar drop brackets to see if that works without having to do wheel spacers? I really don't want to remove the mudflaps and space the tires out any further if I can help it so I don't make a mess of the side of the truck/paint.

I have them, I ordered them and never even opened the package. I decided not to do it and just got new wheels and added fender flares.

Im a -12 offset not and clear my sway bar. I pinned my liners back and in all clear.

In going to return the icon spacers I didn't think an inch would do much.

Any thoughts about going with something like a +18 or +20 offset wheel?

I'm keeping the OEM wheels. Just got to find a way to make them work. Seems like the 1" spacer others have used solves the problem.

Plenty of people have had good luck with them. I had a couple of unfortunate experiences on previous trucks where quality products were used they were torqued to spec and I had to check them a lot more then I cared for. If possible I would like to avoid them but again plenty have used them and had good experiences.

You'll rub on sway bar. Go 0 offset I went -12 with rough country fender flares

Are you guys getting the sway bar rub with stock wheels because you went wide on tire size? I have 275/65/20 tires on stock wheels with trd lift and no rub whatsoever.

Did you guys get a pretty rough ride in the first week or so with the trd kit? Went over a speed bump and it topped out, felt a little stiff.

will the coilovers loosen up? was considering putting on 3in dobinsons IMS with this kit

The springs may settle a little bit, but I doubt you'll be able to feel a difference

My TRD 3" is the softest, plushest ride I've ever had with a lifted truck, even with the 10-ply tires.

I’m sure it’ll soften up. I might change things up and go icon sway bar drop instead of the trd sway bar drop, Dobinson’s IMS front and rear and coil spring.

keep every other trd part including UCA.
