I was thinking the same thing.... 'hold the gravy, biscuits, breading on whatever meat you get, potatoes, chips.... uhhhh, I'll just have a water'!!!!

 

The last time for me was years ago…

 

It's nothing like it was..

I had breakfast at Waffle House Monday, I hadn't been there in a while.
It was pretty damn good and had great service..

 

Now we're talking about a chain worth stopping at.

 

That’s another restaurant that I have never visited. Glad it is still worth it!

 

@GODZILLA I see you on here liking posts. When are you going to send us a picture of that bike so we can like it?

 

Me neither and I love waffles. They are better than pancakes and will fight anyone on that. Don't have one in our neck of the woods that I am aware of.

Have you had sourdough waffles? I've been making them from the wife's sourdough discard on the weekends and are phenomenal.

 

Nope…sounds delicious but sourdough and I don’t get along. I have to use the manly gluten-free stuff.

Have you made waffles from left-over Thanksgiving stuffing?

 

My first thought is that doesn't sound appealing but I'll try anything once. I do like the crispy bits of the stuffing. Do you still put syrup on them?

It is pretty dense when finished, hopefully with a nice light crust. I just treat it like the bread in an open face sammich and add turkey, gravy and cranberry sauce

 

You people need to try lathering your waffles and/or pancakes with peanut butter, then smother in syrup.
Try it.

I don’t put PB on the but sometimes put PB protein powder in the batter mix.

 

Can your food choices are anything like your drink choices, I don’t know if you can be trusted.

My favorite every Sunday but gluten free pancakes which are still delicious and I like crunchy peanut butter
