how difficult is it to get the panels off the dash? I did the cup holder trim and the shifter knob trim, but got scared of the dash lol did it take awhile?

I love the look, great job!

The dash is easy, just use some decent pry tools and it all pops off basically. The door panels take a little more work. Have to drill out the factory heat stakes.

What’s everyone doing for door handles? I hate these fake chrome things, constantly fingerprinted and smudged .. even my father in law has a limited tundra and his ‘matte’ finished handles are better

Where did you get the color matched front end caps and how hard where they to install with the sensors?

Looks good, just ordered the same AJT parts for my 1794 (haven't received yet), I like the way it looks against the bronze leather!

Been thinking about wrapping the wood, haven't put my finger on it yet as for what finish to go with in the vinyl. They have a dark brushed metallic might work well with the 1794 interior. I like the carbon fiber wrap, looks clean!

Swapped out the chrome interior door handles for silver that match the interior trim, I like the silver contrast.

Nahh, other cars I own have chrome interior trim etc. On the Tundra I wanted a different look more subtle, chrome didn't seem to fit the interior style

I'll tell ya what chrome I hate. All the exterior nonsense BS chrome on the 1794 models. Grill, hood bulge, bumper ends, door handles, mirror caps. GONE!!!

I’m with you 100% it’s horrendous and looks like a kid with headgear. But the interior is so nice....

After market, they look and feel and operate like OEM. Can’t recall where I got them, if you google it there are loads of places to buy. Or check with Roman at Cool Springs for oem version.

It’s never made any sense to me from a “know your customer and or market” standpoint. If you skim any Tundra forum, pretty much everyone switches out the chrome parts. We end up with a mountain of chrome parts that are worthless.

Toyota could save the environment through a chrome buy back program. Customers buy a Tundra with loads of chrome, Toyota buys it back for 90% off, uses it for new Tundras no new plastic....the circle continues, earth is saved!

Admittedly, enthusiasts are a very small segment of the car buying public. But it would be nice if painted parts were at least an option.

Looks good, just did the 2 AJT parts last night. What did you use to secure the front 2 bolts on the shifter trim?

I was going back and forth with the cement color, but glad I chose the black, the contrast is really nice
