you sir, need a casey frozen pizza. I am the alpha & omega of making a frozen pie worth eating. Didja know adding lemon juice to the olive oil makes the peppers pop?

Sweet Gum. Shifty is right about the hole, improperly trimmed off collar, didnt leave a stub. Right trunk rot from broken branch above working its way down trunk. That's from my sources:thumbsup:. Tree health only popped up on my radar since August when a bad storm/tree limbs damaged all 3 of our vehicles/house/and out building:annoyed:

Gf will be here in an hour to make our trek to DFW. My dad and sister live down there so I get to visit them as well. My sister and daughter both wanna get tattoos today. I guess there's something about Friday the 13th and tattoos.

Finally upgraded to a modern phone (Iphone 14 Pro Max). I'll be rolling this weekend to check out reception since it's Xfinity Mobile (Verizon MVNO).

As long as Xfinity gives me the $700 in trade-in credit over the next 24 months under their promo for my Iphone 11, I'm good.

Its called 'dressing' aka 'salad dressing'

    Safe travels!

Hopefully you don't have the crazy issues MIL had. She went thru the ringer. Device kept locking up/locking out of network after the transition. Nobody could figure it out. Works fine after going back to pure VZW.

I figured worst case, I can downgrade to the 1G/month plan at $15 and see if I can pick up another 1G $15/month plan from another MVNO. Kind of a pain, but it would allow me to get the credits on the phone every month. Then I could just tie my Google Voice number to each phone and make it transparent.

    I knew I wasnt going crazy….

It appears my bathroom plumbing is making some weird creepy repeating sound like a squeeze toy exhaling with asthma. When i drip the water in the tub, it instantly goes away.

Took the family to Lake Texoma for the day. Did a sardines experiment in the backseat. And this is why I had to go DC. I’ve got 11 more years of this…

I mean, I hope you don't have more than 5-6 years of that. At least one should be in a booster only soon enough.

Well a few weeks ago the clutch decided it no longer wanted to release. pulled the transmission, pressure plate is the issue.. oh well. seems to have been partially dragging for a bit.. but took this as an excuse to get the 3.6 gears and quaife LSD into the brand new transmission.. so currently have the mr2 apart at home and a transmission in pieces.

going from 4.2 final to a 3.6 final should help ALOT with street ability.. yea it wont be as violent accelerating.. but i can fix that with more power.. LOL, it is also getting a custom limited run 5th gear to further enhance the street manners. (i got tired of 4000 rpm at 80 mph.)

between the stupid hard to find 1993 camry v6 e53 3.6 gears, the quaife lsd and some one off gears... oh and a brand new transmission... yea.. i've dropped like 5 grand on a transmission. that i have to assemble. LOL.... dont buy cars kids... drugs are cheaper

In my 20's & 30's my buddies would build their cars. Always improving, always making better, always in a state of disassembly. Watching/helping with their builds put me pretty solid in the keep it stock camp. Stock isn't as much fun, but stock just works. ...and buying someone's 'finished' project is always cheaper than building it retail part by retail part. i remember paying $70 at Toyota for a replacement mudflap on my '83 Supra in 1987 dollars.
Of course for @empty_lord all these projects are advanced training to make him better at his occupation & I suspect he never pays retail.

They were popping here and there last year not real bad though. I took a quick look under and didn't see anything super obvious. I'm hoping to slide under it next week and inspect and pull on some things here and there and see if I can pinpoint anything. This car gets bare minimum to get by. It could use shocks and exhaust (among some other stuff) but so far it's still running.

yea no... trans i paid well under retail.. but the 3.6 gears, quaife LSD and the custom 5th? HAHA... i wish... 900 for a diff, 800 for 5th... 400 for the 3.6 set USED (they ONLY CAME IN 93-94 CAMRY V6 MANUALS) talk about rare...

    Made it to dfw.

    KIMG0583.jpg

I actual buried the needle on the speedo between here and there, somewhere in Mexico.

We did cross 60k miles just before Decatur.

    KIMG0584.jpg

So coming from Amarillo to here is kinda weird. I can handle the traffic. But I've never actually been in downtown Dallas before. My sister lives in Dallas proper, so we stopped in there first. She had a client meeting at 5:30 so we had 3 or so hours to kill. I figured I'd just drive around and get lost. Yeah. As soon as we went to the parking lot we saw a crackhead jumping out of the clothes donation bin. I saw someone squatting slav style yelling at the curb. I saw a crackhead in a bathroom stall at Kroger yelling at something. There's more I'm forgetting. But we did go to the JFK assassination spot. I'm gonna post pics later. It's late and posting from my drive takes a while. Oh, and our airbnb had someone already in it. That was awesome.
