It was very tongue in cheek. Both songs are about having fun. Both are pop, in a sense.

Sheryl Crow is interesting. She was mostly unsuccessful despite trying. Living in an artist commune in CA. She had that breakthru, and basically was instantly labeled a sellout by everyone she’d been hanging out and making music, art with. Or at least that’s how I remember her.

TBH, I can’t stand her, and I can’t stand R-Kelly, much less that remix. I know the songs because I haven’t lived completely under a rock. And when I was a waaaaaaay younger lad, I feel like that Sheryl Crow song was on every public radio, everywhere. Grocery stores, every chain restaurant, hardware store, etc. Good for her. Still can’t stand it. I feel like that aong was the 90s? equivalent of Pharrell’s “Happy”.

Oh and I think you may be confusing Sheryl Crow with Shania Twain.

Trip went well. Got rained out so we wound up in Missouri for a rain or shine downhill bike park. Got my ass handed to me, but may put the truck on hold to build a bike now haha. I’m so glad I put these lights on because we had a few close calls with a couple deer and the fog at times was intense.

I'm buying the mushroom kit next time for field research. I've never had an issue with the rope type though.

On that note, you may want to watch this. Dude is annoying af but he does actuall test how well misc plugs hold, and the mushroom plug is pretty abysmal, has less than 1/5 the holding power of a standard patch and 1/3 less hold than the rope patches you and I typically use.

I was interested in the mushroom and there's a few kits out there. I like the concept, in that it behaves like the "good" internal patch kits, which have a standard flat patch with a rubber stem. I think it someone had a system that vulcanized the plug to seal it in place, it'd be a great kit.

But simply putting a rubber plug in a tire, and doing nothing to adhere it to the tire, leaves it susceptible to push-in. And the fact you need to open the hole more to fit the installer in puts you in a position where, should the plug get pushed in, that tire is airing out almost as fast as you can get off the road, and if you can't get off the road quickly, your sidewalls will likely be shredded.

I've actually used mountain bike plugs in a pinch in a truck tire. DynaPlugs are designed for tubeless bike tires and motorcycle tires, but rubber is rubber.

I agree with this, my local shops don't understand SPC which means my SPC arms are basically useless.

"DOOR AJAR" switch is a battery killer.
The cab is so airtight on my 2004 RCLB that unless a window is open, when I slam the door it often doesn't close all the way...and that stupid "door ajar" light runs down the battery if I don't notice. At least I guess that's what's doing it. This time I didn't drive it for a couple weeks and the battery was down to 1.5 volts. Battery is only 14 months old and ruined.
I assume the AC trucks have more places for air to leak out of the cab when you slam the door so they probably close all the way.
How have others dealt with this? Is the door switch double pole to operate the interior lights on one circuit and door ajar light on another? I usually leave the interior light switch in the off position unless I need it, which is rare. I thought about just eliminating the whole damn circuit, but it would be nice to have interior lights when/if I ever need them.

Just take the back wall off the interior of the cab, and check the breathers mounted back there. There's flaps that let air in and out of the cab

Should be cab vents in all versions located on the rear wall of the truck under the back window.

They're not hard to do the camber yourself with a big level and follow the caster chart for which setting you want.

Both of my RCLB trucks have this issue and have since new. Just the way they are designed, the vents are smaller than the doors. I was looking for a way to delete the "door ajar" nanny so that it wouldn't kill the battery. Toyota should have wired it in series with the ignition switch, but they would have had to have a circuit separate from the interior lights.

If you bypass it on the drivers side so it's always in the ON (door closed) state, you'll have to remember to turn your headlights off

None of your accessories inside the cab will turn off either. Crackie seems like he holds more air resistance than the AC also.

Crack the slider, and then shut it from the outside. Itll work as long as its not wet

Get some of those vent visors for your windows and leave the drivers slightly cracked open.

I have your solution. You must turn the truck into a convertible. This will fix the low pressure problem.

That is one ugly "pee-cup", You couldn't pay me enough to ride in it.
Everyone has to have a ragtop once. I had a 1966 Olds Delmont 88 convertible back in the late 70's. That cured me of driving convertibles.
