That's not going to happen for a long time. They have truly gone full-retard there. Reality will set it, though, but it'll be awhile.

We just spent $10 BILLION on 800 housing sheds I swear are $1,200 each at Home Depot. About $100 Billion into a “high speed” train that’s slower than cheap ones in China and we only laid less than 100 miles of track.

We broke now, can’t afford water.

I get it. Cali has plenty of water year-round, though. Like many resources jn many states, though, it's who controls it. Cali is such a beautiful state from end-to-end. So sad.

Wuuut???!!! Anything below 70° and my sweatshirts are on.

And, fun fact, did you know that there are more registered personal watercraft in Az than any other state? Seems weird, right? Desert. Water. One would think Florida or California or some other coastal state would beat out a desert in this category, but, no, Az, #1 in registered personal watercraft.

Anyone know of a good oil drain container made of HDPE instead of heavy duty polypropylene which is what 99% of the containers out there are made from nowadays?

I’m not looking for the open pan type, strictly the closed pan style so I can store it for a month at most before I get it to a recycling center.

Nobody seems to make them so they last. I seem to only get a few years before I get pinhole leaks in the generic ones. It’s a waste and a real shame they’re made not to last.

Looks like this is the best I can find….

It’s a shame because the one I do show is infamous for leaking through the lids. I may just have to buy a 5 gallon HDPE container to put it into for safe keeping.

Our hub bore is 106. However, many wheels don’t share the same inner diameter for the hub bore and center cap. My current wheels are a great example.

I have one of these FloTool from LAPs. 6-7 yrs now, no leaks. https://www.google.com/aclk?sa=l&ai=DChcSEwiIkbPh_reKAxXem1oFHZEXH_IYABBHGgJ2dQ&co=1&sph=&sig=AOD64_1jE1H0PSj1e0qC0kdbSEg8FaiXwg&ctype=46&q=&ved=2ahUKEwju263h_reKAxXsRjABHY-oBL8QzzkoAHoECAcQVA&adurl=

    I
also have one with similar blown black plastic and a large yellow screw on widemouth cap I got from Summit Racing eons ago, going on 15+ years now, no leaks. I can snap a pic of both tomorrow.

How long do you keep oil in it before emptying? I think it’s the storage of it that degrades it.

So was coming back from a camp site and my truck randomly lost acceleration, motor sounded ok and still ran but when I accelerated it wouldn’t go or rev up very much. I had to turn the truck off and turn it back on in order for it to drive. Any ideas?

I go to the LAPS once every 12-18 months to dump oil. It usually takes 3-4 oil changes to fill them up. Lately I make a point of buying 5qt jugs and filling those up once the drain pans get full, so I can just drop the jugs off at the LAPS. But that’s a pretty recent thing, within the last couple years, and if I can’t fill the entire 5qt, I leave residual oil in the drain jug.

Sounds like the truck went into limp mode. First thing is check oils be scanning for codes both permanent and pending, and make sure your check engine light bulb isn’t burnt out. That light is kinda important.

Check the transmission as well. A truck that won’t downshift can seem this way as well. Start with fluid level. Another thing that can affect downshifting, sounds dumb, but the floor mats can get under the accelerator and prevent the pedal from traveling enough to signal a downshift.

You must have better luck than me. I have that exact same Flo-Tool oil drain pan and it’s only lasted me about 3.5-4 years. I think I picked mine up from Autozone.

Yup that it is. There are a lot of wild names for paint. The newer models with 040 are called "Ice white" now instead of Super white, but it's the same color.

Toyota has paint names that range from Blizzard Pearl, Ooh La La Rouge, Voodoo Blue, Predawn Gray Mica(1H1), Magnetic Gray(1G3), Underground (New dark gray), Blueprint(8X8) Classic Silver and so forth.
