@Jassper, Yes the FRAC harness will work with your 2015 Non-Nav Entune radio. The first group buy harness was $107.00 including shipping and is sold out. But I will add you to the "interested" list for the next round. Not sure when that will be at this point, but probably sometime in July or August.

@TundraTex I really want the AV motion bypass so I can play from my Iphone. Will you be sending us the details on how to add it to your harness. Any other parts like Apple lightening cable etc. needs to be ordered ahead of time before your shipment arrives??

Sorry, @T_dublecab14. I literally don't have the parts on hand to add another one to this order. I will put you on the list for round 2.

    Thanks

The AV function is not available with the FRAC harness.

This would be nice. I actually mentioned this switch in one of my first posts when I was figuring out the FRAC-AV harness. Unfortunately it's bigger than the blank switch panels. I am trying to work with a couple manufacturers to make a smaller one that will fit. But nothing yet.

On my 2016 Tacoma, I did not have heated seats but wanted to add them and keep a factory look. With a lot of research, I found the dimensions of the switches for the smaller of the two Toyota switch blanks, which is what our trucks have; it seems everyone measured them differently. I also subsequently found heated seat switches that would fit those blanks from China. I can get you the dimensions Tex if you'd like and possibly, the manufacturer in China might offer, or make something that would suit your needs for this mod, which I believe has commercial viability.

    Just a thought.

I like the camera and description. I think it's good. Thanks for doing research I have already pulled the trigger and bought one. I think you should buy one too.

Now stop bothering @TundraTex. He is busy building harness for us. Don't you want it ASAP???

@Coolhardy only issue I have is how to drill the hole in the grill for the stud/wiring. There's not enough space in there to drill it properly looking at it.

@BlueBottle, we might be looking at this wrong. I've spent the whole day surfing camera's. They make some really nice license plate front cameras, and I'm also looking some cameras that install right above the plate. Either way, it'll come together.

@BlueBottle I got a TRD grill too and I was thinking of drilling It in one of the letters and have a small plastic plate to bolt on to. I will figure out when I get the cam.

@Skippy I don't have front license plate nor do I want one. Wont work in my case. I want cam to be hidden and not exposed.

Ditto on wanting a hidden cam. The license plate is not the preferred method, but ultimately it gets the best view, and unfortunately, here in Tx a front plate is required, or I'd be tapping a small hole right there. I'm thinking the hollowed out inset right above the bumper might be my best option. Work in progress

Depends on the Material. We can do 3/16" aluminum up to 10 x 10, Acrylic or other types of sheet plastic up to 0.5" thick, 18 x 32
We hope to get a Plasma cutter soon and that will open up more possibilities.

You can communicate with me direct gjb@themakerhive.com so we don't hijack the thread.

I've had a couple folks ask this question. So here are my thoughts. The FRAC harness installation is about a 45 minute job including pulling dash panels and radio to harness installation to replacing dash panels. Front Cam installation is probably about the same time depending on the specific camera. So I'd guess 90 minutes to do the job for a skilled installer.

I found a link for Best Buy Geek Squad installation of a reverse camera that's probably a comparable task. They want $130 for the job.

    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/rear-ba...hardware-not-included/5198012.p?skuId=5198012

    Probably a good ballpark price.
