Nice truck but the new TRD grille is not as distinctive as the ones on the previous Pro. At least it doesn't have the hideous looking snorkel they slapped on the Tacoma.

I agree that snorkel looks real bad. Plus you look like a tool with that thing. Most folks will never drive in talcum powder dirt. Looks badass without the snorkel.

I do not like that snorkel on the Tacoma.

The Sport scoop may take some time to grow on me but overall I like!

I really like the looks of the new 19 Pro. I would consider trading mine for one. But one problem my wife would kick my ass if I traded in mine. But I did pay my pro off last month, stoked about that.

As far as the snorkel is concerned.....I think you run into all kinds of problems if you ford in water even before you reach the snorkel's air inlet point. I even avoid mud puddles with my tuck (pavement queen). Probably almost 30 years ago I had a POS Chevy 4x4 and thought I had to cross a creek which was probably waste deep (I under estimated the depth) and got stock right in the middle, learned my lesson the hard way when I had to pay for the tow truck. No more off-road adventures for me.

Is that a different head unit/etune? Looks different from what’s in my SR5.

Toyota has mastered the "TRD Pro package trim level". If you take a look on this forum or any Tundra forum for that matter, pretty much every Tundra guy wants the monochromatic look and tons of guys were doing it before the TRD Pro trim level was even a thought. So monochromatic the vehicle, put a suspension that most guys upgrade to anyway, lower the available features, audio, tech and don't offer a sunroof (exp Canada for some odd reason). For 2019, guess what SUNROOF...BBS, RIGID, FOX same vehicle......wait, new TRD Pro grill & and non-functional Hood Scoop. Sign all of us up for one!! If Toyota really wants to satisfy Tundra customers across the board and help the environment, just make the trucks monochromatic with black badges and a black wheel option. We can all stop stock piling mountains of chrome parts and unwanted badges.

Hey Toyota how about a "Cash 4 Chrome" program. Turn in your unwanted chrome parts, use your Toyota-Bucks at your local Toyota parts department to buy all the parts the car should have come with (two make it look like a TRD Pro). Even better, turn in a certain amount of chrome parts and removed badges, get the drive-side interior grab handle for free!

Nothing again all the TRD Pro guys, they are epic.... we just want your grill, hood bulge, grill surround, bumper ends, door handles, mirror caps, wheels, badges and scoops (2019 guys).

They do offer blacked out packages. At least for the gulf states toyota area. Black badges, exhaust tip, wheels, and bfg tires. Only at a grand total of $4,500 for the package!! :bananadead:

Is the pinstripe free or do they charge extra for that? :poking:
