Hey everyone, I’m new here and just got my Tundra. I am very happy with my purchase. I have been looking around and seeing many people have issues with suspension and cv axles using basic modifications like leveling kits. I don’t off-road very much and would like to install a level kit. I wanted to know if I would have issues with a 2” Superlift kit being installed on black shocks. Any info is appreciated. And if I posted in the wrong place let me know! Thanks in advanced!

Quick answer: 2” is too high for the tundra. That will leave you nose-high. From what most people see, 1” looks good, 1.5” looks good, 1.75” starts to look a little high.

Appreciate the info, I think I’ll start with 1.5”.
Should I be concerned with cv angles and all that? Again, no offroading, just camping with dirt packed roads a couple times a year. Just don’t want to compromise the truck at the expense of looks.

I watched this video and they basically said certain manufacturers list 2” but it only lifts 1.75. Also vice versa where they claim 2” but it lifts more. Not sure if the trim is a variable.

1.5” is no problem for suspension angles.

No sir. You'll need an alignment post install but that's it.
