Wouldn't it be quite the plot twist if they revealed the 22 Tundra in the electrified vehicle section because its all electric? Tricky Sweers.

That would be awesome! An all electric Tundra, with maybe a diesel engine to charge the batteries. Something like that.

I sort of thought they might do a Hybrid Tacoma but, Nope. Electrified Powertrains is next. Maybe a hint.

Frankly I think their handling, or lack there of, info on the new Tundra is just plain dumb and embarrassing. Talk about souring your customer base. With no Toyota trucks currently on the lots, folks looking g for a truck will go elsewhere when there’s not even a hint of upcoming details .

I hate to be that guy but since they have nothing to say I believe they have issues with the new powertrain. The tundra is not Toyotas flagship vehicle so why wait? Obviously we are all tundra fans but tundras are a small segment of the half tons. Others are right in that the longer it takes to release info the less fain fair there will be.

I also don't think the chip shortage has anything to do with it. All of their vehicles need chips and they released the information on them so why not the tundra?

2:30 - 3:30 secret reveal sneak peak. They're probably gonna show the tundra, but we will get absolutely no info on specs or pricing/release date, hopefully just some more detailed pictures. They really need to just rip the bandaid off of this because it's getting ridiculous at this point that they haven't given us any info on it at all.

“Sneak peak” sessions are typically pre-emoted with a non disclosure agreement. So well get absolutely nothing out of it.

I wish they'd just skip a year and catch up with this year's orders and production...considering that I could sell my 2021 for a few thousand over what I paid for it in Jan.

huh so they're adding the TRD PRO stamp to the tacoma bedsides too now. wonder why they chose to change the layout, looks a little odd honestly. feel like it would have looked fine straight across like on the tundra.

Hard to imagine what marketing director green lit this rollout plan. Toyota still w Saatchi x2? This smells like the work of an internal marketing department.
