Interestingly enough in NYC I see a lot of TRD Offroad, primarily DC’s, being used as company vehicles (elevator/contractor/electrician). Not many fleet Tundras in my area, but in general I don’t see as many fleet vehicles as I use too. The majority of fleet vehicles are small vans around here not really pickups.

Thank you. I was hoping for one with a company logo or something on it so it was obvious. I want to show that guy that laughed at me if I pass through Idaho again.

Yeah there’s at least one, if not 2 electricians in my area that have a TRD Pro as their company truck

I get it, this could be a fleet vehicle. But as a whole, fleet vehicles would be hundreds of vehicles. Which I have never seen Tundras used. I have seen a lot of undercover Camry’s for police/community service vehicles.

The Tundras I see on site at the coal mines are 4X4 work trucks, and make no mistake they look like it. White, Watco emblazoned on the side, whip antennas with strobe lights and a flag (to be visible to haul trucks etc), perpetually covered in mud and grime.

    That’s a realtor’s truck, not a fleet truck

like the poster above, i interpret fleet as a large number of trucks not just one or two that a small business owner drives.

Well whether it's a 100 or 1 it's still a fleet truck that they got for fleet pricing. But I see what you all are saying, "fleet", makes you think it's a lot of vehicles.

Can you get Fleet pricing if you only buy one? (serious question - I have only been part of companies that buy hundreds of mostly cargo vans)

Well I did when I had a business. Ended up with two trucks bought a few years apart, both with fleet pricing through the fleet side of the dealership.

True. Maybe they lied to me. Dam Ford dealers! :annoyed: But I did deal with the fleet salesman. I remember I had to prove I owned a business.

I ordered an F150 the other week but got a call from a dealer I reached out to months ago- they're getting one of the last built TRD Pro in Lunar Rock. It's 17 hours away $57.3 msrp + $1k dealer addendum for tint and stupid crap. $58.3k + $500 fees + tax. Seriously considering it. Expected delivery in 45-60 days. I keep coming back to the Tundra......maybe it's the fun I'm having on this board.

I’d run away from that ford and go straight to the tundra.

I ordered an F150 on May 13th and I'm still in limbo with many others. My option choices are probably what's holding it up as many others who ordered after me already have VINs if not their truck in the "flesh" (sheet aluminum?). I'm still torn about what to do and I'm actually hoping I get a call from the dealer saying the order is not going through. I came close to cancelling it a couple of times but with the unknowns and uncertainties on what we're going to get with the 2022 Tundra redesign, I'm still leaving it in fate's hands for now. I know not everyone clings to my every word (but hey, you should! :p) but before you say "why not grab an existing or order a 2021," know that I want/need a crew cab with a 6.5 foot bed.

I mean I like the Ford and I’m getting a good deal $8.5k off msrp + rebates at delivery but mine is a space white 502a lariat with bed liner, work surface, optional wheels and tonneau cover.
Honestly worse case I drive the Tundra until delivery. I doubt a LR TRD pro will lose money lol.

Maybe they take 4 inches off front end with shorter motor? 2" less rear legroom, 6.5' bed? Make everyone kind of happy if that's possible. Front end still looks big though on the 22 release pics so maybe not getting the 4" there.

I just don’t understand the need for these companies taking political sides and/or stances…just sell products. That’s all they need to do PERIOD
