Can you share the uninstalled height difference of the OEM springs and the Dobinsons when you get them?

Or, if anyone knows the standing height of the stock TRD Pro rear springs, please share.

    Thanks in advance.

How are you liking the Wildpeak R/Ts since you had them a couple months?

So far they are still wearing good. No issues with flat spots overnight like the ridge grapplers I’ve had in the past. Currently have about 5500 miles on them.

IMG_3513.jpg IMG_3513.jpg CBI covert installed along with warn VR12K winch and Factor 55 fairlead and Factor 55 pro link. Side note a BD onyx 6 20” bar will not work if you intend on using the grill support and don’t plan on cutting a whole lot, the Factor 55 offset fairlead will not work for this bumper either. Also installed the RCI transmission/transfer case skid in aluminum.

Retrax. Uptop AFS bed rack. Condor XL. Dobinson rear springs. BFG 35/12.5/r18. BD light bar and ditch lights. Prinsu roof rack. Diode dynamics fog upgrade.
Did a 1k roadtrip on my 35/12.5/r18 BFGs and noticed around a 1.7 mpg drop averaging around 90 miles an hour.

12.4, normally around 13.9-14.1 for driving that trip at 90-95 for set speed

Bought the diode dynamics fog light upgrade and what a difference. Easy plug and play using existing wire harness. Highly recommend.

Yeah it’s actually at the shop right now getting them put on along with the prinsu rack. Will let you guys know how it settles and feels compared to stock.

Has anyone done the baja designs lightbars? Specifically the S8 with the amber DRLs? Doing a 40 light bar on prinsu. On older tundras looks like they have the third wire connected to the parking lights. I want the amber DRLs running anytime truck is on, but want full light power tied to the auxbeam panel. If anyone has successfully done it in past would appreciate thoughts.

got back from shop, prinsu mounted perfect. With the dobinsons truck sits perfectly level, measured 40” all around on flat ground at the shop. Pictures to come.

just to reiterate to others seeing this later, dobinsons on the stock Fox suspension to get rid of the squat from all the overlanding gear.

ride is not much different from stock. Maybe slightly stiffer but I really can’t notice a big difference.

really happy with this set up.

Good to hear! Post pics when you got em. I will probably go with the 835V as I don’t have truck loaded all the time but want something a little stiffer for towing

yeah I think that will be perfect for that set up. Might also consider airbags depending on what you are going to tow.

Got rid of the white on the factory BBS wheels (like they should have done from factory) & got her ceramic coated.

The wheels were $10 or so. Painted them myself with TRD Red color match paint. The ceramic was roughly $800 with a 6 year warranty. I never have a vehicle that long so I didnt opt for the lifetime (10 year).

Not great photos but can see truck sits nice and level on the dobinsons. After truck settled down, honestly can't tell a difference from OEM springs. Highly recommend.

Can also see the diode dynamic fog upgrades, highly recommend. Much better light output SAE compliant and plug and play using OEM harness. 40" BJD S8 light bar with amber DRL for Prinsu coming after roadtrip.

I was able to make some headway on the "power plate" for the Swith Pros. Got the plate cut, and painted with accessories bolted down. Still need to run power to the terminals, but that should be easy.
All the connectors are heat shrinked with marine shrink now, this was an oversight when Itook the photo.

What plate are you usin and what size wire are you planning on running for the power? Are you grounding in the engine bay or running from the battery as well?

I made the plate myself since I couldn't find anything exactly like what I wanted to try and retrofit in there. The power and ground are both extended with 2ga wire.

Thanks. Yeah I was planning on just making my own with some ABS plastic as well. Where did you get the wire? All I can seem to find is either 1/0 then 4 AWG. 1/0 is probably more then I need and 4awg would be enough but rather go a little larger just cant seem to find any 2 TOFC anywhere.

Got this weight reduction mod last night courtesy of an F-150 not yielding. Man I love drivers these days.

Same... First car accident ever. Looks worse in person. Hood is creased, fender is creased, headlight is pushed back in so who knows what it looks like behind it all.
