With the 1.25" spacers have you experienced any wheel bearing issues?

@biebs96 how are you liking the X-AT's so far? About to pull the trigger on these in 285/75. What's your suspension setup? I've got an all stock PRO suspension with the Bilsteins, stock UCA's, no spacers, and same wheels as you. Looks like I should be fine based on the tire threads I've read? Also noticed X-ATs are bigger than a few other 285/75s at 35.1" tall and 11.6" wide. Thanks.

I have 5100s up front which leveled the truck like a PRO suspension. Everything else is stock, NO wheel spacers. Fit perfectly.

I have about 25k on the tires but with regular rotations they still look new.

How was the clearance in the rear of the wheel well ? I have +40 mm which is 20mm further out than stock which is just shy of an 1” so it should be pretty similar situation. I have a CBI bumper so the front isn’t a problem. Thanks!

I'd like to run this size tire on my truck with the stock wheels but it looks like they won't clear my UCAs.
I'm considering the 1.25 Spidertrax spacers. Do you guys think I'll be able to clear my UCAs with those?

I have the Dobinsons 3/2 lift so I should be good with rubbing the fender wells.
    Thanks!
    Matt

I currently run 275/70R/18's, so getting 285/70/18's would be moving up to a fatter tire.
Will they fit on my stock wheels, or will I need some sort of spacer?
I really don't want to get new wheels at this point.

Here's my truck with the 275's and stock wheels.

With no lift and stock wheels I would go to a 285/60 or 285/65 18 max. Good luck!

I have a 285/75-17 as a spare. Looks good on wheel with +15 offset 17x8.5. Don't have a side by side pic with my 295/70-18 but can't really tell much difference.

I suspect 285/75-18 should look really good but a lot of the look will depend on wheel width and offset. My opinion is 285s look best on 8 or 8.5 wide rim. A wider rim starts to make that tire look stretched to me. A 295 can step to 9" rim and still look good. Just my opinions though.

I am curious though; are those 285/70R18 or 285/75R18? Looks great and the spacers really help with the +60mm offset wheels. Have any side pics?

Looks great, I am also running TRD Pro Shocks but with a small shim to give me 2.5" in the front. Currently running 35's on 17" Methods. I snagged a set of 18" Methods on their close out sale and thinking of running the 285/75/18. Can you post up a pic of your trimming on the front of wheel well. Are you still getting any rubbing? I am getting a tiny bit with 35's and I did the bumper spacer as well. thanks

yup- will get some pics later today. No rubbing at all. Is your shim adding an additional 2.5” or .5” on top of the pro 2”?
Wouod love to see pics of your setup as well. I have some coachbuilder shims in the garage I’ve been wanting to add but just haven’t had time

Yes I am running, an extra .5 shim for a total of 2.5". I am using Coachbuilder shims and I also am running Coach builder plus 1 shackles in the rear. 0 offset 17" methods so that is probably why I am still getting rub. I am thinking the 285/75/18's on a plus 18 wheel will help with that. I will post up some pics in few.

I may bother you for some huh to fender measurements if that’s possible? Mt hesitation for installing shims and shackles at this point is that the truck may no longer fit in the garage at home or work lol.

here is a pic of the front wheel well and where I cut to clear.

I want to avoid cutting the front fender well like that. I only get a slight rub while backing up!
