Well, I've got one on order. Canada sale 15% off. Shipping is less than taking the ferry over and back to get so it will give me
time to find the lower front valance from a wrecking yard. I've got a base model RCSB plastic one piece bumper now. So
I'll look and see what I find. I've got to paint part of the grill so doesn't matter the colour.
I didn't order the protection bar on top, I prefer to be clean and if it looks weird I can always mock and make something.
Pics will be on my thread when I weld it up, and then mount it. I emailed to see if I could arrange a meeting with
Brandon when I came over but no answer - pretty slow there with responses.

You can cut your one piece bumper. Lemme find a video for you.

Edit: found. Scroll to the part in the video where they cut the valance. Starts just after 4 minutes into it.https://m.youtube.com/watch?si=ykyT...jY0LDE2NDUwNg&feature=emb_share&v=yp3d9ULqNKA

No problem! Happy to help! I'm not sure how often Brandon checks the emails, normally Daniel is the one doing it. They typically are closed on weekends
As far as I know there aren't any concept or CAD pictures of the bumper yet, but I've never asked. It was just something I had discussed with Brandon because the group buy highlighted the demand and it just needs to happen. They do have a pretty extensive list of projects they need to get done like 1st gen skids, 5th gen runner skids, rear bumper for my truck, etc. They will get them done eventually but their top priority is to keep getting out their kits as quickly as possible and having good customer service. R&D is a lower priority for sure

If/when you're ready to get those RCSB sliders shoot me a DM and I'll get with Brandon about getting those over to you. I'd imagine they'll be somewhere in the $700-800 range looking at other slider prices but don't quote me on that

The rear bumper will be cool! I’ve been eyeing the SOB fab one for years, so would like to see how the Coastal one is designed and structurally engineered. I told brandon to do a dual exhaust exit option lol, I think that’d be cool

Yes waiting on the sliders. Locally my buddy Ryan built me a set but it wasn’t perfect (to me, it was perfect to another guy). I like how high up Coastal’s sits

I emailed and waited, then just ordered the thing. Daniel seemed vague about Brandon’s truck.
Might get to see him in a week or two if I take the Cruiser over for a trip
Just curious, are you in Canada?

Well, I finally had to go pick it up. Only over 2 weeks after I ordered it. All I'm going to say is 'customer service, people!'
Best person I've had anything to do with was the guy who helped me load it up. He gave me a box of cutoffs to work on to help me make sure the Lincoln gets set up properly for the welding. Gotta love a RCSB when the entire bumper fits
behind the seat! Won't get stolen as I hit the shooting supply stores in Vancouver.
Question to Everyone who mounts a heavy aftermarket bumper to your trucks - How much does this effect your steering
from the weight? How much initial sag do you get when adding 215 lbs to the front of your Tundra? Figure Bumper + Winch
that's what it is. Has anyone measured from say top of wheel opening to ground before and after?
What is the best spring upgrade for the extra weight? ( Not including lift kits, lift doesn't mean load increase necessarily )

Open the hood and stack 110 lbs and see how much it drops.

I went to a stiffer spring rate. 700lbs for bumper and winch.

What I plan to do. Was going to measure from top of wheel opening before and after. I was a fellow Canadian went with
Eibach front kit, adjustable coilover and spring - which they make for different suspension lift requirements. But this
isn't a stiffer rate control either. Which springs did you go with? Higher rate Toyota? or from who?
You have replaced all the front components though?

King 2.5 Extended Shocks with 700lbs springs. A lot of offroading here so needed something that holds up at high speed. I’ve replaced the shocks and UCAs.

Mine will stay stock height. This could be a conundrum, not wanting lift. I'll check out King though

I wouldn’t add any front end weight if you dont plan on moving spring rates up. You may be fine with just the stock setup, not sure.

You added spring rates up, how much lift did you add? Maybe I can just add heavier rate springs

They make shims so you can just add .25” or .5” depending on how much lift you lose

I'm glad they took care of you and everything went smoothly. Their customer service has definitely been one of my favorite things of this whole experience
If you get adjustable coilovers you should be able to turn them down so they are around stock height while still running the upgraded weight spring. Just check what their range of adjustment is. A tiny bit of lift wouldn't be bad since it will level the truck out more

Sorry Kyle, that was sarcastic. It sat for a week with a simple issue on the address that anyone, with a clue, could have fixed.
But the guys at the CNC cutting company where I picked up were definitely good and made it all better.

For this info, I can't thank you enough. I've been asking others but I come from a leaf spring world of the last century.
@rcsbguy has been very helpful and I've been taking his lead on things. So I'll look at Eibach & King to start. There is one more
I'm thinking about but don't recall. I've got to finish ARB installs in the Cruiser and with work, my time frame is late Nov now to
get the Tundra all done up. I have a nephew just entering second year of Welding course, so I'll see if I can get him up to
help sort out the bumper and work on it. Be a great initiation for him to learn on, and it's so precise any errors will be found
    and fixed right away.

Oh... my bad. Guess that one went right over my head :anonymous:

Sorry that there was an issue. What was the issue with the address? Usually they're pretty on top of things

Yeah there are a lot of companies that make adjustable coilovers. You might have to pay more for them but you'll definitely be able to get what you want. The key is look for a bunch of threads around the bottom of the coil spring. If it has them that bottom support can be spun up or down to achieve the desired ride height
