It doesn't show up on some of the Canadian online parts stores yet. Probably too new for that.

reminds me of the fiasco of the 4th gen 4runner where the us bug shield was really lacking in coverage of the front of the vehicle but the canuck version was way better. it covered the V dip in the front. it was hell trying to get the canuck version in the usa until 3rd party manufacturer's caught up about a year later. i did eventually get a canuck dealer to sell and ship one to my ND location for my old v8 sport 4runner.

    the usa version

    vs the canadian version

I looked in the glovebox today and I found the tube of paint protection. I thought it was applied by the dealer! I'll be applying it this weekend. What a joke.

Not happy with the overall Tundra (2023) purchasing experience. I'll shop in a different city for my next Tundra.

Order the ProClip phone mount for my iphone 13 Pr Max.

Mount is rock solid, no complaints there; probably one of the most secure mounts I have ever used in fact.

However, what I find a bit odd is the hardware they provide to mount the phone holder to the mount. If you can tell by the second image, the screws penetrate right through the mount itself and are quite sharp. Some may say 'Not a big deal' [ Bizznasty ;), ha], yet it can rip your flesh open if not paying attention.

Solution [mine anyway]: grind down the tip a bit so that its not protruding well past the back mount and less sharp. Wish they had stated this first before I installed it...not a fan of holes on the backside now.

Recommendation: Provide shorter screws that bite into the back mount yet do not penetrate right through.

I have the same mount, those screws are not suppose to penetrate through the back. I think you may have over torqued them.

    Negative Ghostrider.

I emailed them directly! They are supposed to penetrate through was there exact words.

My guess is they may have sent me the wrong screws.

Added some Yakima FreshTracks ski holders to my Overhaul for toting my surf rods to the coast. Nice not to have to try to wedge them into the bed or have them handing out the back.

Will be good for ski season as well.
