    Hi Warren,
    Going to do the same led lights for running boards on a 2021 1794 Tundra. I like your idea of running the red wire from the drivers rear scuff plate to the passengers side. Is their any issues you see by going under the truck instead of across The interior? Thanks for you wisdom.

    Hey Nick, I'm a little uncomfortable running a wire over the drive line but that's just me. I'm dragging, literally, my truck over stuff off road so all my wiring is alongside the frame where it won't get snagged and covered with braided or split loom (often both) to help protect it. Best of luck with your project and note that I don't know what color wire you'll be tapping into.
