I’m contemplating making this change as well on my ‘23 Limited TRD OR. Can you share side profile pictures? I like that it stays within the fenders.

Yes! Thanks to you both, that’s what I’m looking for. This looks great, going to pull the trigger on a BBS set that a buddy took off his pro.

@thomez and @TundraDan723 i made the switch and love it. Are you running PSI @ 35 per the door plate? I believe it’s always by the car requirements and not by the tire but wanted to check.

I have a 23 1794 with the TRD OR package/20's and I am running 35x12.50s with no lift and basically zero rub. The only rub on the fender liners at full lock and typically only in reverse. I feel that I could easily fix it by pinning the fender liners back a bit.

Quick question for @TundraDan723 , I'm trying to do the same type of swap you did, (18" TRD Pro BBS Wheels and tires on a 2024 1794 edition Tundra), but was not able to program the TPWS and get the tire pressure sensors to work. I took the truck to the dealer to have them do it since I assumed that I was doing something wrong and they are telling me that the TRD Pro sensors are incompatible with the 1794 edition since they have an identity code that is 8 digits long and my 1794 edition only allows the input of a 7 digit code in the tire monitor ECU. Did you run into any issues with using the TRD Pro sensors when you did your swap, or did you keep your original sensors and have them installed in the TRD Pro wheels? Any insight would be appreciated.

I smell bullshit I swapped my 1794 wheels for TRD Pro and let the dealer do it...they charged a reasonable fee and even swapped the spare

I can't imagine that they are incompatible

I put the sensors from my original 20" wheels into the new BBS rims. They did not come with TPMS sensors (and I had no idea they weren't compatible)

Thanks @TundraDan723. Looks like I'm going to need to do the same. Based on everything I can find out the TPMS sensors seem to have changed for 2024, so I can't put 2023 TRD Pro Wheel sensors on a 2024 1794 TRD Offroad Tundra. Would not have stopped me from getting the wheels since I think they look great on the Tundra but it's always nice knowing what you're getting into when you do these things. IMG_6706.HEIC.jpg

Sorry you had to learn the hard way, but it's good info for all. Also, pretty easily remedied if you still have your original TPMS sensors.
