    Our new house had one of those old-@$$ Honeywell thermostats, which is fine; but I wanted to be able to remotely monitor/heat up/cool down the house when on vacation, and stuff; so bought and installed one of those Ecobee thermostats. Highly recommend it.

    Also...if you own an Ecobee, and want to know exactly what the heck your Ecobee is doing, look up Beestat.io. It helped me figure out some inefficiencies with my house, and formulate a plan of action.
