Anyone running a Softopper?

I'm going to order one for my DC. I wonder how long of wait for black.

 

They told me last week about 2 weeks for the black.

 

Nice!! I just tried ordering but got blocked by my work's corporate security system.. Have to wait until I get home.

 

Got mine ordered. Now we play the waiting game..

 

Ordered this morning and the tracking says it will deliver Saturday!!!

Ia anyone running a soft topper underneath an overlanding rack?

 

Not yet but have been researching options. None are tall enough for the softopper to be fully folded up, you have to remove a cross member or two. Brands I have seen are:

Overland Extrusion
Datin Fab
Max Modular Voodoo

 

I ordered a extrusion overland bed rack. I hope to get it delivered by next month.

I have 2 trucks, both currently with fiberglass toppers. Am thinking of the RTT route but don't see many options for reinforcing a fiberglass topper (on the inside) for the weight on top. Like the look and idea of the bed racks, am just a little concerned with eyes see what is in there and having to waterproof anything put in the bed (plus dust). So a bed rack with a soft topper seems kind of ideal.

 

Maybe not.. Shipping label created Wednesday but it hasn't been given to Fed Ex yet.

arrived Sunday 13th, but won’t get atriums till installing till this weekend. Mother Nature decided to drop down below 30 degrees and snow. What is she thinking ‍♂️

 

Just sold my softopper for my DC that i traded in. Ordered one for my CM today. We'll see how long it takes. The good news is I don't need it till june.

I finally got my Xtrusion bed rack installed over the softopper .

 

I love this.

I have a ton of extrusions. I should talk myself into doing this.

 

I'm hoping to do the same thing with my truck. Did you purchase or make the rack? I'm hoping to DIY one, but I'm not to sure how to attach the rack to the truck under the softopper rails. Can you post/send me a picture of the brackets you used? did you purchase them or make them? Thanks in advance!

 

I purchased the rack from Xtrusion Overland. See pictures below for the brackets and hardware used to put it together. Hope it helps with your build.

Hey, has anyone tried to use an adarac over their softopper? I'm considering giving this a try?

 

Ordered mine July 9th... still no word on when its going to be shipped...

 

Older thread but just got my softopper installed - Has anyone had any luck sealing the front corners? I drilled the snaps, used the deck rail cleats to hold the panel tight and added some foam insulation at the corners but trying to decide the best way to "lock" the flap down to the front of the bed. I haven't even driven it in the rain yet but just front sitting its getting water inside - not awful but not dry enough to camp in like I'm hoping for.

Ordered xtrusion overland rack, now I am trying to look for a softopper, i have a black truck, would black topper work better or tan? so torn.

 

Can't go wrong with black. I was debating on tan on white but then I'd have to fast track those bronze te37's I want.....
