+60mm(I think) like most Tundra OEM wheels. Make sure you use the acorn lug nuts.

Are your tires brown instead of black?

I am liking this post. The open center cap is the only downfall I see so far, but that is strictly a preference thing.

You can buy the hub cab to cover it up. These 4 hub cabs are OEM so they fit perfectly.

They are black. I just got back from muddy forest road.

Just want to say thanks @Ellis_McPickle for this thread. Exactly what I was looking for. Have you got your lift done and gotten closer to deciding?

Also thanks to @MSU Tundra and @anh6259 for posting yours. They look sweet!

I priced out some new Methods, and I just can't justify the price. Especially when these are readily available at the auto wreckers and easily make for a set of 5 to keep the spare in rotation. Love the utilitarian look. Can't wait to lose my chrome 20s.

Found this when researching a different set of rims for offroading. The "spare" option P/N 426010C060 listed above is a reasonable choice. Except you can get new wheels from discount tire as well for about the same price, after you throw in shipping. And a lot more choices.

    Something very similar:

These wheels are made my Envy. While they weren't entirely easy to find online, I sent a message to the company to find a supplier and they got right back to me. Found a local supplier who got them in overnight. I was worried about the weight as I saw them listed at 45 lbs on one site. I was pleasantly surprised to see them weigh in at 37.6 lbs, especially at $90 CAD a piece. Going to have to wait if you want to see them on my truck though.

Very interesting! What’s the offset? Factory spare is 60mm.

It's in the pic. ET is for offset, which is +40.
I didn't want to change the scrub radius too much but wanted a bit more clearance, so +40 should be just right for me.

Yeah, 40 is nice actually. I don’t like poke so would want something close to the factory 60mm. 40mm is close enough.

Finally got em mounted. Again, these steel wheels are Envy NX43851 (18x7.5 +40 offset). They're wrapped with LT285/75R18 Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLTs (35"x11-1/4"). Black chrome gorilla lug nuts are on their way.

The +40 offset pushes them out 3/4" further than the stock +60 offset. I think the slight poke is just right. I might put Bushwacker flares on if it looks alright. The 10mm wider tire adds another 5mm to the poke, totalling around 1" further out from stock. A narrower tire will have less poke.

Naturally happens to tires over time. If you don't coat them they go brownish.

Would I be correct in assuming all Tundra spares/steelies are 18”? I don’t want to go back D=

Looks rad as is! No fender flares ever. Goofy AF

Thinking about finally pulling the trigger on a set of steelie spares now that the BBS forged TRD Pro wheels have doubled in price (for unknown reasons!). Looks like it'll be about $750 with lug nuts, TPMS sensors, and shipping.

That's for four wheels (your truck already has one mounted as a spare), four of the steel wheel TPMS, and four sets of steel wheel lug nuts.

Nice to the old 2008 in post #1. The 325/60R18 tires were, well, a bad idea… just too fat. Those wheels are still in my barn, and may see use on my 2011 in the evolved form. They were part of design experiment that attempted to recreate something akin to the old FJ40 wheels (most old steel wheels for that matter).

Just rattle can for paint, which is why they have some rust. I only ran them on the LC for one winter season, 15/16, been in storage since.

An unsprung weight of almost 40 lbs is the primary reason. Like many of my projects and experiments, they get placed aside and forgotten for years until they come back into the fold or are sold.
