Key fob body showed up… buttons got thrown away as trash

The saga continues. Looking for just button replacements now.

If your key fob is acting up, I’ve had good luck with just replacing the battery first—sometimes that’s all it needs. If that doesn’t help, you can try a local locksmith or car replacement service.

They’re often cheaper than going through the dealership, and they can quickly reprogram your fob too. If you’re looking for something more DIY, there are some online kits where you can replace the fob case and even the internals if it’s just the buttons or the chip that's gone bad. I’ve used one of those before, and it worked out fine! Here's a good place I found for car key replacement.

For the cost of paying someone, you could buy this and use it for all sorts of stuff including replacing key fobs:
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/204596779661

There are some mixed reviews out there, but mine works fine and I have successfully reprogramed a new key fob with it.
